BUT THEN STILL: lets face, dont get why xbox owners says its sh*t, when its said the game would be bigger if it was ps3 exclusive.. couse it would, why dont just face it now ? The game is comming out on both consoles at this point anyway, and next time GTA comes out, xBoxes will be able to play games that needs more room than the 8.5gb at this point.. Making a game for 1 system is easier and generally produces better results. 2. There is no proof a PS3 exclusive GTA game would be any better than a Xbox 360 exclusive GTA game. 3. Both systems are receiving DLC, but Xbox 360 will be getting 2 larger packs than whatever the PS3 gets. 4. PS3 was not the reason for the delay. 5. The systems are essentially equal, both with pros and cons. 6. Controllers are good for both, it's just a matter of getting use to. Anything I missed? The drive in the PS3s is going to be obsolete soon, because drive speeds will probably double, then double again like they always do. Unfortunately, The upgrade will never grace the PS3 because a game can only be developed to utilize the lowest common denominator. The DVD disc, however, is faster to read. That is integral for the environments to stream properly. Also, you have to think about development time as well. Would you want them to spend another 2 years or so to develop 3 full fledged cities instead of just one (and risk 3 times the bugs)? Because that's all the extra you would get. The processing power is only marginally more with the PS3 than the 360, so it's not like you would see more peds, traffic, or polygons on a PS3 exclusive GTA. Both systems are pushed to their limits with this game already. The only issue is the storage capacity, and that's a non-issue, as discussed earlier. Why else would other developers make a HDD install manditory on big games, rather than stream it from the "almighty" blu-ray? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

To be honest I was a little annoyed that xbox muscled in on GTA at first, but when you think about it, it really doesn't matter! And its more money for Rockstar which has gotta be a good thing.
