Grindy Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 Whenever I try and do anything that asks me to put in the Directory for SA in, it says that it isn't there and when I try and choose it myself using the browse option it does exactly the same. gtamodder Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 It may have. but didn't it get installed in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas? That's SAMI You're using? Try IMGTool so you can open the file manually. And if you're trying to install mods that replace or add files in gta3.img, it won't work. Steam versions is like SA V2.0, Which isn't moddable, but you can use a downgrader (search on google) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Grindy Posted April 15, 2008 Author Share Posted April 15, 2008 Thanks, I have got a downgrader and it is doing the same as sami, saying that I need to point it to the Directory which SA is installed in. And no, it hasnt saved it under C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas but under C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\grand theft auto san andreas instead. Any ideas?
