I also remember Dan quoting "People are constanly getting arrested" It was in my June 2007 OPM mag, still have it. There will be a lot of crimes happening in Liberty City. CarpetDweller Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I'm sure it's just another GTA promo vid to show off another part of Liberty City and make it feel like a real place. They just chose to do it in the style of a recruitment vid because they can do it in a homorous way and it's an existing form of media. The Dilettante vid was made out to be a car commercial for one single vehicle, but it's really their way of showing off lots of the cars in the game. I very much doubt you can join up (beyond playing as cops in multiplayer) as it would fit even less with this story than the previous ones. Come on, a guy that will do so much havoc (That we will do in the course of the game) will surely not be recruited, BUT maybe he has to do a misson - something like stealing a cop suit and . . . I could understand them doing an LCPD recruitment video just as part of the marketing of the game, but to have an actual location on the map? If you can go to a burger shop and buy burgers, and go to a strip club to get a private dance, It would make sense that when you get to the LCPD recruitment building there will be something to do there... Also, as a side note, I expect there is already a topic on this but did people notice in the new vid, Niko inside the correctional facility?
