Look in your phonebook for what they call "WISPS" Wireless internet service providers, its transmitted by a radio antenna from the top of your house like a little sattelite dish and its just like DSL when I had gotten it I was playin Counter-strike 1.6 back then and got like 30ms ping times. The signal can travel for miles and miles so its usually quite available for people in the country, look around you might have an option dude.
