Sorry if tis been announced already, I have recently just started reading these boards. I asked this awhile back. No split screen and no off-line co-op. Its basically 1 user per console. Actually in free roam (only online, there is no offline free roam or any offline multiplayer)...you can have a buddy sit shotgun (or sit on the bitch seat when you are a bike) with you.
