Jonny_Tightlips
Why don't you save the money and rent one of them? Buying them is just pointless, as you'll most definitely throw them under the bed when GTA4 comes out. ...besides that I ain't sayin nuthin. ILovePolarBears
Having played neither, I submit my totally uninformed suggestion; Crackdown.

Seddo
Why don't you save the money and rent one of them? Buying them is just pointless, as you'll most definitely throw them under the bed when GTA4 comes out. Those two games have been out for a while and you'll easily be able to pick the games up cheap as hell now. Gamestation usually have an offer like 2 for £20 but unless you only want the one i would probably go for Crackdown. Even though Saints Row was alright it was a bit boring at times but Crackdown was very entertaining, i mean just jumping around on a maxed agility stat was awesome. Then later in the game add that to a maxed grenade/explosion stat it was just pure epicness. Co-op was awesome aswell.
mc420
i would go with crackdown. I own saint's row but its a pretty big disappointment. There are times where you get stuck on foot and you wont see a car for 20 min. also alot of the features that SR has is pointless, like drinking and getting high. Also if you're looking for something to hold you over for gtaIV, i wouldn't get either. Get kayne and lynch, its a damn good game.
tommy vs. claude
Get kayne and lynch, its a damn good game. Your opinion is null because of that statement. OP: Rent SR.
papanesta
Crackdown. Just spent all night playing it.
ryuclan
Crackdown is good but I found myself putting in more time with SR.
Edwards
Definitely Crackdown, IMO. It's tons of fun to just dive in and screw around with the city. Saints Row just irritates me, now that I've completed the craptastic plot - there's nothing good to do, I have no motivation to play it anymore. So I'm going to trade my copy back in to EB for a discount on GTA IV. sysnode.org
havoKXT
Crackdown. Don't argue with me.
jking
why noy rent them both and then buy?? it probably would be cheaper but i guess the both would run you like 29 bucks or cheaper nowadays...SR was fun i kinda hated having to have enough respect to do the missions but it made you kinda do other things i guess and now im trying to get back into crackdown and im really kinda irratated with the gangs but the game itself is original...so i guess i would say get off your ass and go and get Crackdown now!! Pat
Am I the only person who hated Crackdown, but loved Saints Row? Honestly, in Crackdown, all I wanted to do was jump around and explore. But of course, I couldn't with gangs attacking me no matter where I was. Hell, even the police attacked me when I didn't even do anything to them. Saints Row is pretty sh*te after you finish the storyline, but it's still worth at least a rent from any GTA fan.
