Yea those HL2 jumping things were pretty terrifying the first time I saw them. They would come out of nowhere and just start ripping you apart...

For me its F.E.A.R. Every time that crackly sound went off on your radio I got all creeper out started looking around waiting for monsters/Alma/Featel to jump out and go “BOO” Here is a few videos from Youtube that make me laugh at people who get scared easily.

Mesh does FEAR part 1.1

Mesh does FEAR part 1.2

-At 3:13 in the vents first few times scared me so bad.

-At 4:50-5:10 I did same thing smile.gif

-At 6:23 scared me good too blush.gif

Mesh does FEAR part 2

Theres a part 3 thou but you can go see them.

STALKER, the first time you go into those catacombs looking for Strelok's stash, when you first see those invisible Zoidberg mutants. Just knowing that they're somewhere in the room with me is enough to make me crap myself, but when I see those glowing floaty eyeballs start rushing towards, that's about the time I shut the game off.

Also, these guys.

Creed Bratton

What about that dead guy in the morgue in Manhunt. When you approach the table to pick up some health he stands up with that creepy sudden sound of horror following. My heart was beating so fast I couldn't go on playing it for an hour. It was a bad time for me when I used to play a lot of horror games.

Definitely Otacon.

Otacon: Snake, four suits of stealth camouflage have been stolen.

:::OTACON'S FACE GETS HUGE:::

Otacon: OH MY GOD, SNAKE, THEY'RE IN THE ELEVATOR WITH YOU!!

HAHAHA!! I was 10 when I first played that. Needless to say I also sh*t my pants when that happened.

@ xinferio; Yeah, RE4 has a lot of those moments. It's not the actual enemies that are scary, but the noises and impending doom that's about to befall you. Every time I heard a chainsaw I would absolutely sh*t my pants, find a corner so they couldn't get me from behind, equip a shotgun and pray. tounge.gif

Let's see...

-RE4, when

jumped out at me. That scared the f*cking hell out of me. Also, edit: Verdugo was creepy as hell. I got so frustrated from that damn fight I eventually bought an RPG from the merchant and blew his ass up.

-Silent Hill, just all the games overall. I don't think I could find a game with a creepier atmosphere.

There was one moment in BioSHock that put me on the verge of crapping my pants; it's in a corridor in Hephaestus on the way to Ryan's Office. Thing is, you walk into the corridor and it's empty, at on point you near some bodies *BAM* lights go out, lights come back on, bodies gone and stuff knocked over. This pretty much shocked me and put me on edge, heart beating fast now. Anyway you keep going down the corridor and approach more bodies and the same happens again, more on edge now. You keep going to a third group of bodies and then the clunk you hear when the lights go out sounds but the lights are still on and the odies leap off the floor at you wailing like banshees. I went to play through it again late at night one time, got to that point and thought F*ck That Sh*t and went to bed.

I'm playing AVP 2 and when the Xenomorphs just pop out of f*cking nowhere it's pretty damn creepy. Especially when they sneak up behind you.

Oh dear... I remember that bit, it really scared me as a kid, I recall I used to turn off the volume or close my eyes.

And that whole damn place was just creepy, it was desolate and you were all alone.

Condemned Criminal Origins creeped me out a lot like the bits where someone grabs you and you get a close up of their face, or the original Silent Hill, I downloaded that for play on my PSP but I was too much of a wuss at the time to see it to the end. Then again I did complete Silent Hill Origins...

Also that bit in Medal of Honour Underground in that Valhalla castle level where you walk up to the knight and you don't think he'll do anything then all of a sudden he comes to life and starts charging at you with his sword, that really caught me off guard when I was little.

Or that butler in the Tomb Raider series, mainly the older ones, he kept following me everywhere so I just locked him in the freezer!

Those old Resident Evil games had a few moments of suspense like in the original when those damn Tyrant's jump out at you, or in RE3 when Nemesis runs after you...

Yeah, same here. I'm surprised to see no other videos of it.

I don't rmember the game, I played it on the Amiga 500. There was creepy classical music playing, you had to walk around some sort of haunted mansion or something. All I really remember was that your character ripped his own head open if he got too scared.

The sewers in SH1. Damn. Emerged in the huge, hostile lakeside district, and had to save and rest blush.gif

SH1 is scarier and creepier than the sequels. The grainy graphics actually help that. SH2 has a fantastic story and SH3's "Grand Guignol" style is kickass. Some of the very best PS2 graphics there smile.gif

SH4 Sucks tounge2.gif I wish team Silent were making SH5... Ah well... I'm so focused on GTAIV that I have neglected SH5.

All the better when I play it then devil.gif

That damn scream when you fall in the second one.

I actually have to mute the TV when I play it.

It has to be the highest pitched sound I've heard in my life. (Apart from the thing at the end of "A Day in the Life" by the Beatles)

For some reason, the Gates to Oblivion in TES4 scare the balls off of me. I see those big, flaming, apocalyptic hellgates and I just get real scared, especially when the sky turns red and there's all that lightning and sh*t. I can't stand them. I actually figured out where all of them were and strayed away so I wouldn't have to be taking a jolly ride on my stallion to run into a whole bunch of MonSTARS and devilspawns. Goddamn.

And what is their obsession with hanging mutilated corpses? is Falanu Hlallu Mehrunes Dagon's real identity?
