Picolini
My shopping cart is empty.
Kryten.
We do not see the items in your cart that you will see. It would probably be better to just list the items inside which you're thinking about getting.
Ronnyboy
Fixed it for all. Now can someone answer my question please?
Kryten.
http://www.srtest.com/referrer/srtest That's a good website for testing if you're computer can run certain games. I know it has Half-Life 2 and San Andreas. Just looking at some I don't think it will have too many problems with the likes of SA. My laptop runs it just fine and it has less specs than that. As for the Vista vs XP, there's probably a ton of threads about it but personally if the games run on XP probably stick with that for now. I've encountered quite a few problems with newer games (and even some older games) not being able to be played on Vista without it crashing every so often. It's kinda a personal choice though. Its something you'd need to research a bit before deciding.
anus
Why get a combo drive? Get a DVD writer, they're really cheap and worth it. I would also suggest going with Intel, a Q6600 would be nice and it has better performance than that AMD processor. Change that video card to a 8800GT, if you can't afford that, get an ATI 3850 or 3870, those cards are better than the 8600s. That PC will run SA, HL2 and Portal well, can't really say how it will handle IV though .

CCPD
I think Windows XP over Vista is a wise choice. I never used Vista, but I heard it's not that good at all.
