Nah. It was sarcasm. Good luck with your "invincible" 360...even though if I threw it out a window it probably wouldn't be so invincible anymore.

How about we throw your PS3 out the window and see what happens.

Do you even have a PS3?

No.

I have neither.

I'm indifferent.

I'm getting PS3 because I know Playstation better.

Vice Sanandreas: I remember that! I had a fat PS2, and San Andreas broke my laser. So, I got a skinny one and it works fine now, and it's been years.

I still have my fat one. And it went through SA fine.

Lucky.

I did have a used PS2, and did you have the first version?

I think the combination of a fat PS2 and the hot coffee is too much to handle.

I'm the only person I know that still has a working Fat PS2. I got mine befor they even thought of the Slim one.

Yeah, when SA came out there was a really long topic on this forum with everybody ranting about their problems with their DYING PLAYSTATIONS.

and Sony even released a list of model numbers on their website that they believed wouldn't be compatible or something. so far Xbox 360 has given me superior quality and I've been able to enjoy wonderfully good games like Dead Rising and Gears Of War without worrying about what the disc is doing to the laser.

I've both working. Tough, I bought a SlimLine three years ago, when I thought that my fat one died. Two days after I connected the Slimline, I tested the big one before I'd sell it - Worked flawlessly. I still got both, and they still work.

Same here. Actually, my brother has a fat one...but, he spilled beer on it so the disk tray doesn't open half the time. lol.gif

It works fine too.

I have two "fat" PS2s that I bought 6 years ago, and they've never had any problems.

My original PS2 I bought in 2001 broke, because my dad tripped over the controller cable while I was playing GTA III (Just after I got it), and the PS2 smashed on the floor. The disc tray was f***ed.

Luckily it didn't damage GTA III though.

Great thing about PS3s, and 360s is they come with wireless controls standard. None of that worry.

I've had all that happen to my PS2 and the only problem with it that the disc tray makes noise when it opens.

Yeah, those things are pretty sturdy.

But noisy as hell. My old disk tray was always making noise too, and once I dropped in on the floor (tripping lol.gif , that's why I love wireless controllers), I put it on the floor. The fan or the disk spinning or whatever it is is so loud. Drives me nuts.

Now that's some additional entertainment to the Gamecube right there.

My first 360 was a piece of sh*t and f*cked up on me, but my Elite is doing fine, though I am getting GTA IV for the PS3.

It's a triple-c*nted-hooker that wears a T-shirt reading "Play my 3". They escaped... AKA "came out".

Can I ask a question to everybody here?

1. Is your 360 dead?

2. How long had you had your 360 for?

3. What games do you own or mostly played on it?

Mines still going (I first got my 360 about 8 months ago).

When I first turned it on it got the RROD, and I crapped myself, but it was only because I didn't have a wired controller plugged in and my wireless wasn't charged. Sensing no controller it brought up the RROD. I put in my wired and it worked fine.

It's also had the RROD when there has been thunderstorms. When the first clap of thunder happens sometimes it shuts off (probably my power boards kicking in) with the RROD, but starts back up just fine.

Mine is still going as well. Got it about a year after initial release.

Mind you I also own a PS3, so I can just pick up a copy for it if the 360 suddenly dies.

I got the RROD once, and that was my fault. It wasn't plugged in correctly and it showed as the 3 rings for some reason. That's the problem with most people, they think it's completely broke, when actually the plug into the 360 is probably lose or shifted. Fixing that fixed both my friend's 360's. Take care of it and it should last a long time.

it was humiliating
