I admit, I was tempted to go for the Xbox 360, for the DLC, but then I was a little disappointed by Sam Houser's description. He said it won't be a main story, but be an additional side campaign, a la the Dark Brotherhood missions in Oblivion. I was originally going with the 360 but decided to get a ps3 after a long debate... live and the DLC are pretty cool, but gran turismo and MGS4 are way more valuable to me. GTA4 is the main catalyst to get a next gen system, but the above mentioned games and the ability to stream media to my TV are other strong reasons for the purchase. I cant freakin wait! Hopefully it ends up being nothing more than just side missions that do not effect the story much, because I believe I will go PS3. I could buy both now (360 and PS3) and still have plenty of money left, but I am conservative with my money and only want one of them . I am just overly paranoid with buying new things sometimes, and not just with the Xbox Rings Of Death, but with the PS3 possibly going down as well. My first PS2 died on me. It just blows to throw out a few hundred to get something to fail on you. I had stopped the GTA hype from bothering me, but I don't think I can hold it at bay any longer. But if I bought an Xbox he wouldn't pay for anything. So needless to say that influences my decision, I can practically pick up a PS3 and then get GTA for free.
