MrGizmo
One of my favourite all-time songs. THIS WILL MAKE YOU FEEL AWESOME!
-beeblebrox-
Ah yes, quality song indeedy, love it when Hugh Laurie's grooving along to it in House as well
Creed Bratton
Even though I'm more into rap I gotta say The Who is quality. The only thing I dont like is how long they need to actually get to the good part...at least in this song
Dem57
I loved that song i recommend any The Who fan to watch quadrophenia, one of the best films in the world. Edited April 15, 2008 by Dem57

Slamman
I bought VIRTUALLY all the Who material and Lifehouse/AKA Who's Next is an all time winner! Can't go wrong. Like Pink Floyd and the Eagles, I saw them more then once live and cherish those memories! So damn awesome. I recommend next month you stay tuned to VH1 Honors, as they pay tribute. You can win a trip via Guitar Center's website to fly to California and meet them before the show!!! How cool? I entered into the contest, though it's scary flying across the country! Slamman
I heard a female DJ mention it was one of those Gurus like the Beatles followed around looking for some non Christian Religious experience, and the guys name was taken from that, though not exact. Baba O Riley, but I can't recall the full details, but it is supposedly true. Like the Hare Khrishna that John Lennon liked to sing about, or was that George? greebo-man
Perfect driving music. Though "Wont get fooled again" is better in my opinion.
Creed Bratton
Perfect driving music.Though "Wont get fooled again" is better in my opinion. Yeah, I kinda figured most people know only those songs played during CSI intros Do some research on The Who and listen some of their other songs
Chickstick
Great song. It's played before every home game of our local rugby league team, Hull FC, and it really gets the crowd going. Not that we've had much to shout about this season, but that's got nothing to do with this...

Yeah, I kinda figured most people know only those songs played during CSI intros Do some research on The Who and listen some of their other songs Whoa there boyo. Before you start making rash assumptions, i'll have you know that 1: I have never seen CSI, i wouldnt know the intro, and therefore that is not where i hear my Who songs. 2: I just think Won't get fooled again is the best who song. There is nothing wrong with that. just because it's the most popular, doesnt mean i can't like it. On revising my thoughts though, i do think Love reign o'er me is a cracker, and could give Won't get fooled again a run for it's money. Just clearing that up. Slamman
I find it just interesting that the CSI show is someone's FIRST exposure to the Who, it hardly seems possible given the years and YEARS of touring and airplay, being there since 1963 basically. Before I was born, these guys were crafting anarchy on stage! Get Pete Townshend's various videos outside the Who as well, he has a very nice LaserDisc set I think is not on DVD yet, that I can recall. A bit of oldies with a rock-opera performed live, and no, not Tommy!
square66
Great song. It's played before every home game of our local rugby league team, Hull FC, and it really gets the crowd going. Not that we've had much to shout about this season, but that's got nothing to do with this... THANKYOU! I knew I was not insane, I used to live a coupl'a blocks away from KC, and used to hear it every so often.... and I was convinced I was going crazy And they played at the stadium in May last year sometime, so I pulled out the barbeque and beers, and rocked out in my own back yard! Trows
I've always loved the blue man group rendition No dough this post will get questions and and maybe even some fighting.
Slamman
With Lifehouse, on DVD from Pete, there's an acoustic number I find is just perfect and could be an all time favorite, if done by the Who. Like Behind Blue Eyes. The song is called "Greyhound Girl" I mention Pete a lot, but Roger Daltrey and the rest are equally appreciated. I've never heard The Seeker so often as I do now with GTA4, but I still like it!! Edited June 24, 2008 by Slamman

Quadropheniac90
I'd love to see 'em live. I'm listening to Quadrophenia, f*ck I can't believe I missed out on that for this long. Also getting Tommy, I know a few songs off that which are awesome... I like the drums on Won't Get Fooled Again from Live 8. They were awesome there. Don Garcia aka NjNakedSnake
The Who are gonna be performing Live at the VH1 Rock Honors, not sure when that is. I plan on seeing it as they pretty much rock the sh*t live.

Ph3L1z14n0
It doesn't matter if you like Black Metal, Emo, Pop Rock, Progressive, Heavy, Epic, etc. If you don't love this song, then you are not a true rocker.
Mainland Marauder
No Keith Moon + No John Entwistle = Not Really The Who But go see them anyway. And go easy on these kids. At least they're discovering some quality music. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." Slamman
I'm listening to Quadrophenia I bought the VHS of the film last week, just started watching. The thing that's funny is I just want to hear the entire tunes, but they are intersparsed with the story of the film, unlike PF's The Wall. Slamman
Yep, the Wall was a midnite movie staple for years after it's release. That and Rocky Horror Picture Show. We got the best treat with the multichannel surround re-masters! As has been done with The Who's rock operas too
