From this date onwards to give people the best chance of getting GTA4 on release day. 1. If you can, pre-order the special edition 2. If you can , get the highest postage class possible 3. If you can, order from a company that is based in YOUR country THE LIST 1. Amazon - not a dedicated gaming site, not much effort on getting you it on release day. It wasn't my fault. I didn't realise that this would happen. I mean surley all you early pre-orderers can forgive me? All I want is 2 get GTA4 on the it comes out. can't anyone forgive me? thor79 Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 Why can't you asses help out your fellow GTA player...he's just looking for help on how to get it as soon as possible. I prefer to stay away from online ordering when trying to get something on release day...though sometimes you can get a nice surprise and get the game delivered early. I've had that happen a couple of times through online ordering. They get it for shipment like a week early and transit time to you takes a lot less than they expect...which means they ship it out expecting it'll take 2-3 days and it takes 1 or something. But that's usually hit and miss. If you can preorder at a local shop you know will have copies on release day....then you can at least guarantee to get it on release day. Actually due to a mistake I accidently got two copys of Call Of Duty, the one from amazon came a day before the one from play.com so you can't say you won't get it on realease day from amazon and you will from others.
