rayneman
I'm in the Heist mission where I need to parachute into the dam. Like every other flying mission, I can't do it, but I'd like finally finish one myself. So how is it, that I can be even with the red circle, all is well, and then EVERY time I get near it, the power throttles down and the plane dives....and there is nothing I can do. Its like the red circle is at a higher altitude that the plane can actually get! I've tried fying waaaaay out, turning around and climbing, but still I can't get high enough. Any tips? Arrgh! GTASA_passer
Easy mission. You dont need to actually go trough the corona, get near and it will say JUMP!

Use the additional speed when the plane dives to climb a little bit higher than you started from. It flies as well as a brick though so don't try to climb too fast or it'll stall. I usually get a little bit above the corona before coming down onto it Steve
dxk
You guys ever heard of the 'whirly move'? You just climb when making circles. This will let you gain more height than a normal climb.
