spaceacealpha Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I've played 1000's of hours and seen lots of strange things. On GTA:SA I was showing a friend the mountain base jump location. I took the dirt bike and ran it full speed off the base jump ramp. Dismounted at full height and pulled the chute. I thought I'd be clever and let go of the chute over the river, for a wicked free fall. As I fell feet first, I started drifting over to the bridge. I hit the bridge at full speed and DIDN'T DIE! I walked a step forward and was nailed by a semi! Died on impact! I wish I had that recorded! On GTA3 I was doing the fire missions. On Gamestop they showed this 'killer' vid of some kid doing flips in an airplane. Big deal. I once hit nothing in the road but my fire engine managed to do a full back flip and land squarely on the wheel's, not even a scratch! On GTA3 at 5 star rating I managed to carjack a FBI with FBI still in it and get away! I was driving around with FBI guys in the car with me. As soon as I stopped I was instantly busted GTA:VC was so buggy it alone was a wonder it worked! mupet0000 Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I've been playing a lot of GTA:SA lately and some strange things have happened, there might be some GTA:SA spoilers btw. Just driving down the street and a motorbike will roll past me on the floor with no one on it and no one fell off it. Happens quite a lot and i dont know why. With the knife, sometimes when you go up behind someone to stealth kill them, CJ will move away and still play the animation and the guy will die. Just strange as he is actually stabbing no one. On a mission where you have to follow some woman to her house, she is driving her car like a maniac and gets it stuck in the sidewalk somehow, then it tells me she got "spooked" and she disapeared completely leaving her car bouncing around in the sidewalk. I once got busted by a dead police man, he opened the door and got run over then it said busted. On a mission where you have to spook some guy tied to the front of your car, CJ starts in a garage and the AI drives him out. He tried to drive out but hit a car, he then started driving around smashing into the side of the garage, he smashed around for ages, eventually the car set on fire and exploded causing me to fail the misson, he never got out the garage. Was on the top of Mount Chiliad looking over the edge enjoying the view and preparing to jump off. all of a sudden i hear a plane, next thing i know it crashes near me and explodes, and i get wasted! The weirdest moment I had in GTA was in San Andreas where I was on the top of the tallest building in Los Santos and a SWAT team member came down on a rope and PUNCHED me (I thought they just fired a machine gun) and when I was brought to the ground, I was busted when I was falling! Gog Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I once had 2 stars, & a cop car appeared, stuck inside a building. I could see the grill of the car. The cop was stuck in the wall too. I could see his hat & his arm with his gun sticking out. He was shooting but not doing any damage to me. I threw a grenade at him & nothing happened. adamrosie86 Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 In SA I was up in the canyons somewhere and sped off a ramp on a dirtbike, just as I was flying through the air a bi-plane smacked into me (BOOM) lol i saw a video on youtube, where the exact same happens with a ATV look sh*t funny.. and wasnt multiplayer.. think it happens quit often at that ramp i was gonna say the same thing. nothing that crazy has really happened to me on sa. haven't played that much since i got my 360. First of all, I was stranded at the top of Mount Chiliad, and this was before I knew the jetpack cheat, so I was following the long, boring path, and it was dark and thunderstorms, so as you can imagine it was a scary environment, and to my surprise out walked this chinese ped and he said "Hey good buddy!" I was laughing so hard afterwards. Finally, I shot at this car, and the driver panicked and tried to speed away, but he hit the wall, and I ran up to the car (It was a Club) and pressed Triangle, only to find that the animation stopped where I was carjacking, and the guy sped off while I was literally attached to the door. I pressed every button but CJ was froze, so I thought, let's see where he goes, and I ended up in the desert before I restarted the console. Oh, and in Vice City, the mission where you have to pick up Mercedes and drop her off at Love Fist, well I picked her up on a PCJ, and she was like 5 foot to the right of the bike in a sitting position lol. I was modding a Infernus in Transfender, after I put some new wheels on, I could drive the car around the garage, and I drove it forward slightly and fell through ground, and outside the garage, losing the Infernus. yeah, ive done that in the ps2 edition all you have to do is reverse the car when u first drive in, it might just be on the VERY first edition of SA before it was pulled off shelves xD Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

grasscarp99 Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 Playing GTA III I carjacked a brown Jeep from the passenger side. The driver didn't get out and I rode as passanger. When I fired out at peds the driver would freak, scream and speed up to get away and then after a minute or so, he'd calm down and continue with his routine. We stopped at intersections, etc. The whole time he was mumbling to himself. RockStar's attention to detail, even back then, was crazy! I've never been able to replicate it. 04ayasin Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 In GTA SA I had just been to the garage to kit up my car. i kitted up two of them parked them in a garage in the garage your guy gets when he first comes to the third island. the next day went on one of the cars had disappeared and the other was just plain white with it's normal wheels.
