ChrisAndy
I've always still played San Andreas on the PC. The mods help keep it fresh. I've really been thinking about picking up SA on PC, but my laptop's graphics capabilities are limited... CS: Source lags really badly.. I'm currently doing the missions for Joey in III. I still have Vice City Stories incomplete, but I don't really feel like playing on such a tiny screen. If only there was a way to play PSP games on the PS3. I really hold III in high esteem. Even though the radio stations are bland, the graphics noticeably bad, and the car handling is universally poor the game's atmosphere and the dreary design of Liberty City is what really appeals to me. As much as I liked Vice City, the map was way too small and I really didn't like driving any of the cars. San Andreas gets props because it is just ridiculously epic, but I think at times the plot gets tedious and the cutscenes feel incredibly choppy... the whole enterprise just feels like it was too much for the PS2 to handle and the implementation of all the smaller ideas falls kind of short. I'd consider trying it on my laptop, if only it would run.
