Idontrember
I mean how exactly will nieko get a helicopter? Since rockstar has tried to get away from vehicles with keys in them how does stealing a heli work?
Ivisde
Good question. I think its going to be the same as the cars.
Faggio_Racer
Maybe there's just keys in them. I don't think it matters a whole lot.
Nikku
I really don't know much on this, but I don't think helicopters have keys to start with.

skindog
Planes have keys (iaap), why wouldn't helicopters? I think they have keys.
ROCKSTARmentality
having a step dad as a plane enthusiast, SOME planes and helicopters have keys to get in, and to put in as a security feature... but you dont turn the key and start the plane or helicopter like you would a car... thats just silly... so im guessing he'll have to get the key to open the door to the helicopter... and then youre good to go!! redwolf206
I'm just guessing they're probably just gonna be drivable with/without keys or hotwiring, you just have to start it up.

This reminds me of a thread posted on a pilots forum once with the title, "Who locks the airplanes at night?" But yes, once the door is open of the Helicopter, you don't need to "hotwire" it. Helicopters are as simple as turning the pump fuels on and turn the engine START switch.
wafflemaster
Planes have keys (iaap), why wouldn't helicopters? I think they have keys. Why would any aircraft have keys ?? They are just a simple anti-theft device, and a seriously out-dated one at that. Since most aircraft are to be found at airports, the most secure of all civilian locations, then why would any vehicle need protecting with a low-tech security device like a key ?? Only little one to two man planes have keys.
SovietWarrior42
I guess either the pilots are very clumsy and never lock their helicopters, or Niko bashes the door's window (is that even possible since the windows are fiberglass?).
redbaren
its pretty use less to have a key....
browse
Simple, you cold wire the helicopter, not hot wire it.

Mikeol1987
I think there will be a really specific place in the airport to aquire helicopters, and next to the helipads will be a little building to aquire whatever you need to get into the helicopters if you do in fact need anything at all.
