Anarchy- The absence off a government. An inefficientcy of a supreme power. AKA The USA. With no laws every man would have absolute liberty. Meaning when thier is no prison system criminals will run the streets again. Stealing and murdering. Absolute chaos, Mass rioting. You would be lucky to survive. There is a study that took place in Washington, DC where a large number of people meditated/prayed for the decrease of violent crime in the city with interesting results. To say conscious being with a specific persona is controlling all these events is slightly presumptuous. I could see how primitive man could imagine this, but with the advents of modern society (democracy, psychology, quantum physics, etc...) we can come to more radical, less "inside the box" ideals. Your interpretation of purpose of "God" and miracles is not far from my own. Can I ask you a personal question, Slamman? Have you ever done magic mushrooms or LSD? (Note that speaking of past illegal experiences is not illegal). I don't do any drugs, I'd unhinge my poor mental state further I'm afraid. Look at Rolling Stones guitarist Brian Jones, he didn't have a tolerence for all the chemical abuse he got hooked on and eventually it caught up to him. What I was saying is Devine Intervention as Slayer poked fun at, is what I would call a seeming miracle one might observe. But Faith is that the power God entrusts is put into our own hands so the whole Athiest attitude or belief in one's self runs along those lines as well. I enjoy your posts, so not accusing at all, but the bible is not a literal tale more then a collection of Parables documenting a number of events at that time, and how God wants us to live our lives. He's not going to right wrongs, is my point. Only one time did that happen, with the great Flood and Noah's Ark. The death of Jesus was so he died for everyone's sin, so we could seek eternal life after death. This is my own interpretation of the message, your's may vary. I asked because those drugs can be classified as Entheogens (meaning God manifested within) along with most psychedelics (such as Peyote, Salvia Divinorum, Mescaline, DMT or even THC). I was curious if one of these inspired your faith. What caused me to re-examine my stance on the possibility of any sort of spiritual/collective-unconscious existence (not what I would label faith)was when I tried Salvia Divinorum. I equate the term faith to Dorothy's friends in The Wizard of Oz: an amalgamation of Intelligence (brain/scarecrow), Empathy/Emotion (heart/the robot-- I mean tin-man), and Confidence (courage/lion).
