MattC13
I use the mouse to control the camera, and sometimes it stops and stays in the same position for a few minutes. I've failed a mission because of this. Anyone know the cause?
Girish
Yes, I face this problem too; although it happens only when I start/load a game. What I do is, hit Esc to enter the Pause Menu and then Resume again. That solves it most of the times. Try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode to see if it makes any difference. Besides, the bugs have never hampered my gameplay. The rest of the game is smooth.
gtamodder
Have you tried this? Fix -> Run game in Windows XP SP2 compatibility and then delete [.set] file. Alternatively, go into Task Manager and you should see more than one "gta_sa.exe" process! Close 'em down and relaunch San Andreas. Note that Alt-tabbing in/out will not work, as once you load up your save file - the game will crash and your mouse will begin to not respond as soon as the interior loads. This is if you're using Vista.
zaroba
do any of you have multiple monitors with ultramon installed and running? i have noticed that having ultramon running when playing the game will often cause this problem. closing ultramon before starting the game avoids it.
