DQ_4944 Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Around mid day on the 28th go to your Gamestop and PreRing(Basically get a reciept and/or pay off the rest of the balance) for GTA IV so when you come in at Midnight all you have to do is wait in a seperate (PreRing) line and just show em the reciept and there you go I know this aint got much to do with GTA but I wanted to let ppl know who preordered at GameStop this to avoid the LONG wait!!!! Then you go back in your place (if it was saved) or to the back of the line. No actually one day after school I stopped in just to talk abouit GTAIV and R* sent every GameStop a packet (I guess for Midnight Launch Party) it had trivia (BTW I passed the trivia part with 100%)and etc and it had something about PreRing this was made to eliminate the long lines from the ones that already paid and just need to pick it up so the only thing you gotta do is PreRing around Mid-Day and come back round midnight Edited April 13, 2008 by DQ_4944 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The stores will get big fines for selling the game before the official release date, pre-ordered or not. Although pre-ordering from a webshop mostly does mean you get it a day before the release or so, cuz they send it out early to be sure you recieve it on the release date. If you preorder you WILL get one no doubt but preordering just guarantees a copy well unless they get short on copy's and don't have all to fill pre-orders on day one cuz i know for gta:sa they gave us like slips of paper with a number on it and i just happen to be in the store when this was going down so if u got lucky and was in the store or called that day u got a copy but every one else that wasn't able to get that first 30 they had shipped to them had wait till they got more i'm hoping this bs don't happen with IV Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
