I can get the bonus pack thing but thats like £70 and I'll probably never use the stuff... I NEED ADVICE! That's what they all told me so I'm just gonna get up early. Yeah that's what I plan on doing. You just need to think of places that not so many people would go to, to get Grand Theft Auto IV. I have a few suggestions: http://www.powerplaydirect.co.uk They are based in Jersey I believe and they are excellent with delivery, I got my pre-ordered copy of Condemned 2 (Playstation3) on Thursday the day before the release date. Also I ordered my Playstation 3 bundle there and that arrived like the next day from ordering it . Others to try: http://www.choicesuk.com http://www.pcworld.co.uk http://www.sendit.com http://www.whsmith.co.uk http://www.gameseek.co.uk http://www.zavvi.co.uk http://www.thehut.com The regular copies are selling out just about everywhere so I would get your pre-order in while you can. Even Whoolworths are out of the Playstation 3 version now with ASDA.com and BlahDVD only have the Special Editions available now. It looks like the Playstation 3 version might end up being more popular here in Great Britain anyway I don't know about America. You could always try and pre-order a copy on Ebay with a trusted Ebay seller but it's a bit risky I wouldn't recommend it though as you never know if they might con you even if they have good feedback. I remember Halo 2 and 3, soo many people pre-ordered but even after release day, you could go to about any store and it was a surplus of Halo. Even stores you thought wouldn't of had a big game shipment had one, I'd expect the same for GTA IV. Wal-mart, Canadian Superstore, HMV, Music World, EB Games, Gamestop, Zellers, Blockbuster, Rogers, basically any place that carries games will have it. Yeah, because pre-ordering a game takes up so much time. A whopping 5 minutes. Don't talk to me about priorities, if you had some, you'd have been able to fit in a few minutes to pre-order a game. I work 60+ hours a week, and yet I still managed to find time to pre-order. But you spent all of your time fiddling about with these forums, rather than pre-ordering the game...Priorities huh? Wrong continent, sir OT: Good thing you found a place to pre-order it. Many of the GAME locations (so I've read) are having midnight releases so even if you had gone the next morning on the 29th they would have already sold out their non pre-order copies.
