I am not sure whether I'll skip school the release day.. but if I don't, I'll wake up at 7.00, ride my bike 4 kilometers to school, at 14.00, i'll go from school, and i'll take the bus to the nearest big city, where I'll pick up my pre-ordered game, and, wait for the next bus to some by and read the manual while in the bus. When i get back, I'll take my bike, ride 4 kilometers to my home.. Anyways, I'll wake up way too early, if I've even caught any sleep at all, and friggen SPRINT downstairs. I'll probably scream if the parcel hasn't arrived by that time, and I'll be banging my head against a tree every minute the game hasn't been delivered to my house. When the holy grail finally arrives, I'll barricade my door, switch my telephone off, bolt the windows, lock the medicine chest and place the parcel on my kitchen table. I'll then light candles and incense (lol) and slowly open the parcel. My hand will then enter the actual parcel and grab hold of whatever's inside (f*ck me if it's ANYHING but GTA). I'll then slowly slide the game out, and break down and cry (). I'll load that mother into my ps3 and completely suck everything this game has to offer up. Timed perfectly really. *Depends if it drops through on the Monday or Tuesday. Maybe I should slip the postman a bribe... Take the public bus to high school. From 8:20 - 2:27 I will take notes/study in all of my classes; this will be difficult seeing how I've been waiting for a YEAR for this day to come. Once school ends at 2:27, I will then go to my locker and get ready to go back on the bus which comes exactly at 2:45. From that point on, I'll arrive home around 3:00, undress myself from my school uniform, eat dinner, then browse the GTAForums & SomethingAwful for anything related to GTA IV. This may be difficult, because I don't want any spoilers to ruin my mood. From 3:30 - 4:00, I'll get dressed and wait for my dad to get home from work. Once he's done showering/eating/resting, we'll hopefully arrive @ Wal-Mart somewhere around 4:45 - 5:00. I'll walk up to the electronics department, show them my pre-order receipt with the proper case and pay $59.99 for the game. From that point on, I'll arrive back at home at 5:20, wash my hands and run up to my PS3 and pop the disk in. From 5:30 to 11:45, I'll peacefully enjoy the game with no remorse. Olsky Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 i wake up 9 am, walk out of my room and see the parcel... i wish i could open it and play what i know is inside but i cant coz its not my game, it is my brothers so i sit there infront of the t.v. with the ps3 controller in my hand, rocking myself and muttering.2 pm finally my brother gets out of bed and takes the parcel in his room locking the door. 4 pm my brother finally gets out of bed he plays and i sit there wathing for a while still rocking myself. 8 pm finally hes bored of playing computer games so he tells me to go stand outside the room he calls me back in and i ask ' where is gta4?' he replies 'in my safe box and your not getting the keys!' im too upset to talk so i go have a sh*t and think how im gonna bust the box... i do it the gta way so i go in my room and load my airsoft gun and shoot my brother till he gives me the keys! yes the game is mine i finally play it and... the fagg*t switched the discs, this is gta3, i play it anyway because i knew i wouldnt be able to ply the game that week older brothers are sooooo gay! I do nothing at all in all my classes, but sleep so I will be able to stay up all night. I get out of school and run to my car. I go home as fast as I can and wait until about 6pm to head to my gamestop. Where I know dam near everyone that works there I go there so much. I am 1st in line unlike halo 3 where I was 2nd. This time I will be 1st. I make small talk to Joe the manger and let every one know that I am 1st in line. I am so happy to know that I will be holding up gta4 in that bag with the lock box before anyone else at this store and just kick back and play demos untill about 9ish when they kick everyone out until the reopening for gta4. I backed my car in so I can sit in line and watch TV until 11:59. Oh, but before the store closes I buy any and all GTA4 toys or nick'naks. (just like I did for halo3) So I am siting in my chair waiting for gta and talking with all the people in line with me and since I read and saw and dam near heard every little thing about gta4 that I am way able to keep up with the talk unlike the halo3 lunch where I was just so shocked on what people knew there. So 11:00 rolls around and people share gamertags. 11:50 I move everything back in to my car so to make a fast get away. 11:59 Joe opens the doors and lets me and one other person in. I slam down my ID and get my copy of GTA4 and guide. Which is all paid off already. I run out side and wave my copy in the air as I run to get in my car. I put everything in the seat next to me. Burn rubber leaving smoke and head home, driving way to fast and with my luck runing red lights. I call ahead to let my mom know that I'm headed home fast and for her to open the front door. I run in side. run to my room turn on my xbox, put in the game, sit down in my lazy boy and play GTA4 until school the next day, if I go at all, Which I highy doubt I will go. sh*t its GTA4.
