gta4hater Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Mines- I wake up , 9am. Rub my eyes and then realise. It's thee day. I edge my head out slowly hoping, begging or even desperatley wishing to see a parcel sitting in or outside. As if in slow motion , the parcel comes into view. A perfect rectangle in a brown, lovely parcel brown colour. With a clealry visable white label that looks exactly like a parcel from play.com. I skip down the stairs, a slightly overly fast skip. Like a normal girly skip apart with the Nitrous oxide usually found in Need For speed. Jagging my foot on peice of unwanted plastic lying on the cold wood floor. I have a quick glance but say to myself "who gives a sh*t it's GTA4 day!!" I reach the front door and start slowly opening the parcel, pulling the inside object out slowly making sure it wasn't anything other than GTA4. FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. It's ok, the green case can be seen and I quickly pull it out. Now what? days, weeks and months of waiting for this game, and I finally have it! Time is running out. It's 9:10 am already. I place the case down slowly placing it down on the safest place in reach, with such accuracy making sure It can't possibly come into harm with a wet,warm,cold or any other exteme substance. In the kitchen I grab my massive box of Flapajacks and bottle of Irn Bru that I bought for this day, thee day. This will be the only time I'll be out of my room ALL day. Then with pace I grab the case with the refreshments in hand, I sprint up the stairs and turn on my TV, the xbox is on and I open out the disk drive. Take out my Call Of Duty (bye loser) and place in GTA4. It starts loading up and the exitment is killing me (not literally) and ....... SCREECH!!!! Shut curtains, lock door, turn of my phone. Turn on PS3, grab a couple of cans of Irn-Bru and some crisps and stuff. doomdiver_16 Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Wake up at around 7, go out at about 8:15, get to school at about 8:30, bore my friends with talk of GTA, get out of school at 3:45, wait impatiently for the bus for 30 minutes, take 30 minutes on the bus home, practically run down the main road trying to avoid death by cars (possibly reminding me more of the game and speeding me up). AP5MVP Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 on the 28th i will wake up at either 6:00 or 8:00 in the morning depending on whether it is a day 1 or 2 at school. will then leave school at 1 p.m. because im a senior and i get out early. drive home for half an hour, and then hopefully sleep from 2 to like 9 or 10 at night. then i will get up, eat something, brush my teeth, maybe take a dump and then go to the midnight release at gamestop with my friend CT. i will then pick up the game, drop off CT at his house and then play all night until i have to go to school the next morning. I'll then take some munchies upstairs and wait impatiently for the postman to bring me my game. Following that will be a 12+ hour GTA binge! storysham Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 7:30 Wake up 8:10 jump in car, leave for work 8:45 start work 1:00 20minute drive to game shop 1:20 get my hands on the xbox version, have an orgasm 1:40 back at work look at maps and stuff whilst drooling all day 5:00 finish work (hopefully might sneak off earlier) 5:20 arrive home after driving like a lunatic 5:30 get food and drink supplies, load game. drool, die and go to heaven 2:00am *estimate time going to sleep.
