Is anybody else gonna quit reading info?

I've made the decision to avoid all GTA4 websites beginning April 20th or so. This is a self-imposed exile but there's a point to it. I want to be BLOWN AWAY the first time I pop the GTA4 disc in my 360. The more and more info I read, (even if there are no real spoilers involved) the more I feel like I know what to expect. After reading dozens of previews, I feel like I know enough about the game.

Is anybody else going to avoid the early reviews and other nuggets of info that are coming out soon???? I'm sure an overwhelming majority of you probably won't avoid the info but would try to if you knew you had the power to resist it???

Great Idea, I to am avoiding any info starting on the 20th, (GTA guide is released on the 21st)

I have all the info I need, infact I would purchase IV without even seeing a screen shot.

because we all know that the game is gonna kick epic ass. I don't need to read reviews and watch gameplay videos (that's if any actually come out) to reinforce that fact. However, I totally understand why people want to read everything under the sun about GTA4.

I've done my damndest to make sure I don't read Jordan's point by point summary of preview articles, and not reading the scans they come from. Other than that, I've been visting the GTAIV site and looking at some screens. I'll be keeping the same track record.

I'm reading no reviews that may spoil it and i'm only on here to talk about known aspects of the game.

I don't mind looking at screens but anything else is off-limits for me. Not yet, though. I'm going to give it another week.

I used this approach for Vice City and it made it even better.

I'm gonna stop reading any info by the time it gets released since I'm getting it at the end of May. dozingoff.gif Maybe I'll come here and ask you a few questions like "are there really no seasons" or my favourite "is there a rhino?" biggrin.gif

I thought about resisting...but i cant and I know i will be blown away by the game anyways.I wont read the strategy guide though cause that would ruin it...so as long it doesn't spoil the story im ok. after I get the game i probably wont even be on my computer for a couple of weeks. so unless im really stuck im not gonna look at the strategy guide after release either. tounge.gif

Would like to but I'm forced to read a couple of reviews to check if the PS3 versions doesn't have framerate issues before buying.

Doing that (staying away) makes time fly by fast.
