SIXAXIS Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 Now before you guys start flaming me about posting a topic about the GTA IV Leaked Gameplay, I just want to say that this topic is about whether you like this as the real intro and think it's really legit or whether you think it looks a bit fishy. I personally think this is a bit fishy. Notice how it's a computer monitor that's not widescreen. How could the XBOX be hooked up properly? Also, the video looks like a modified version of San Andreas. All he did was make an alternate video and replaced the San An video and then changed the loading pictures to GTA IV ones. It looks fake to me. Any thoughts? P.S. Mods, I'm sorry if there was another topic or this topic "phails" at obeying the forum rules. If so, then just lock the topic. Me and many of my friends use our 360's on 19-21" non widescreen monitors and there are no problems. It all works fine, just change the resolution. Also in the San Andreas intro the images through the "blocks" if you like where moving, the ones in this intro appear to be static. Yeah the same style of intro was used for VC and I believe 3 too. Only then the blocks would be over a movie that showed ingame footage, a bit like the trailers. Like in VC you can see a woman rollerskating behind those block during the intro. So why now do it using artwork? Cuz he doesn't have ingame footage he can use to make it look real. Although that 'immigrant guide' or something in the game box looks more like the way rockstar would make the manual then previous attempts at fakes. It was a good attempt, but anyone could have made this if they put the time and effort to do so. Making GTA loading screens is easy nowadays too, just take a look at mine, here. I can't really remember, but I thought it did.. in which case it would make sense to continue using the "traditional" GTA opening, would it not?
