Seems like a preview to me based on what they said about the game. And if you can't see the sex on dates, where's that partial nudity coming from?

anyone know if LA Presse is available online, I'll translate it if someone finds the original article, I'd go get it but Quebec is rather far

-- edit -- okay a search of GTA4 only brings up news of the GTA (greater toronto area for those who don't know) which unfortunately has a lot of news, in the words of a great frenchmen "TABARNACLE!!!"

You do realize there's less French speakers in Canada than Chinese speakers.

"Solliciter des prostituees pour un <<health boost>>"

Haha.

I think it also talks about something called "Hot Water" in response to the Hot Coffee mod.

That seems a little harsh... learning multiple languages is a great thing and can only help you not hinder you.

Not to mention it makes sense to learn the official languages of your country.

i have nothing wrong with the french language but i hate the hypocricy.

in ontario we have to have all labels for products in both french and english but as soon as you enter quebec all you find is french (or their perverted form)

There's roughly 8 million francophones in Canada. There isn't that many 'Chinese speakers'.

Please explain to me how learning french is helpful when a very small percentage of people speak it....now if the other language was chinese or w/e its called (no offense to any asian but i dont know the name of the language) then it woul dbe useful because most of the business world speaks english or chinese its just kind of a known fact.....plus screw the official language of my country, i hate the french language devil.gif most fellow canadians will agree tht it is a b*tch to learn

EDIT: if there was a biggest page stretch award this topic would most definitely win

um.... i once lived in and travel to quebec often and most if not all products are labeled in french and english... exactly the same as ontario and the rest of canada... think about it... does it make cents for a manufacturer to print 2 labels... one with both and one only in french? of course not...

Bilingualism is just another sh*tty political notion we Canadians can thank Trudeau for.

Strangely enough, it's not that English is spreading in Quebec, it's that Quebeckers stopped having kids, what, 40 years ago? Evolution baby!

I know chinese is even more of a b*tch to learn than french but you might as well learn a language that is more useful in common situations cause lets afce it there are a ton of asians in canada or at least where i live (havent travelled much) except for someone in your position which then french is extremely helpful

You must live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area tounge.gif) or in BC... then i can deff see Chinese being an asset

I hope you mean French people from France, and not French-Canadian. Even so , that kind of mentality is pretty red neck. Go back to your trailer park !!

I find offense in that! I am a redneck from a trailerpark and I LOVE the French (pornography)! Kissing Cousins?! Count me in!

^joke

but seriously, dissing rednecks or folks that live in trailer parks is just as bad as dissing the french.
