first time installing car mods but game stops

Hello can someone help me because i was modding for first time a few cars with GGMM on my pc en now the game start en i see the menu but wen i will start a new game or load a game then he loads to the half and then he freeze

 

please help me.

And you can use a downgraded (Search on google), and install that and the game should work now.

In that case you've got a problem in your gta3.img or your edited lines. Check the filenames first (they are case-sensitive). If that doesn't work out, check the handling.cfg , vehicles.ide and carcols.dat . You might have overwritten the wrong line or removed one too much.

Crashes through loading? I heard that it's a problem with one of the data files, it wouldn't be a problem in gta3.img, the game will load, but when you get to that car it would crash the game (if problem in gta3.img)

 

Take a look at the files Supra4 said as well as carmods.dat in the data folder. Compare it with the normal ones, and if there is anything missing, add it. Also some original tuning parts use textures from the original car and if you replace it, it may crash.

all vehicles with tuneable parts should have a readme telling you how to configure veh_mods.ide if it needs to be changed.

Mine's doing the same thing. I used SAMI, and it dosen't work. I also installed it myself. FAIL.

Did you use the downgrader patch? If not, the it will crash.

I did that, and now when I try and launch the game, it says this:

"Please remove disc from current CD/DVD drive and insert the original disc

In another drive?:."

 

Frustrating!!
