What ways can I screw up 100%

You know how in previous GTAs you could screw yourself out of 100% by doing things in poor order? Such as whacking Kenji before finishing his missions, or ditching the Mafia before completing all of Luigi's missions, etc.. Can you do that in San Andreas too? And in what ways?

Only if you activate "Peds riot" or "Peds attack each other" cheat which prevents you to complete the mission "Burning desire" or "Madd Dogg"

Yeah as Bad Boy said the only way you can screw your 100% is by entering the Peds Attack Each Other cheat with prevents you from successfully completing certain missions like 'Madd Dogg'. There's no glitch like the Purple Nines glitch from III.

What's that purple nines glitch which happens? I'm wondering what are these famous glitches, never got 'em before.

3. Who can be affected by the glitch, and how does it

occur?

This glitch only seems to affect people who have completed

the telephone missions for D-Ice of the Red Jacks at some

point, and then saved the game. Some people have claimed to

suffer from the glitch without completing the D-Ice

missions, but I'm not sure if their information is

reliable.

Essentially, once successfully completing the final D-Ice

mission, the Jacks have won the turf war and the Nines are

no longer to be found on the streets any further during the

game. This is when the glitch occurs; once you have saved

after completing this mission, selecting "New Game" from

the pause menu will create a new game in which the Nines

are already exterminated. However, any existing save files

from before the final D-Ice mission was completed will

still have the Nines. This is why creating the save file of

a fresh game in slot 8 when you first create the GTA3 save

block and starting new games by loading it avoids the

problem.

It's where the purple nines won't appear, and you can't complete one mission. I forgot the name, it's where you kill purple nines but you can't as there aren't any and not get 100%

It happens if you complete his Red Jack missions, last mission you kill the purple nines, and you start a new game and they are not there.

Here are several ways you can screw yourself. It is basically a compilation of glitches. You can ignore this if you have San Andreas V2.

- Using a "Pedestrians Riot" code. It forces Madd Dogg to jump before you can catch him. This one is famous.

- Saving at Madd Dogg's manor corrupts the save game and stops basketballs from spawning. Ever.

- There is this glitch that concerns doing the Taxi Missions too early or something like that. I think you should search it up. Whatever it is, it screws up your game by not being able to do any more taxi fares. It also screws up a Mike Toreno mission. I suggest you find more information on this, because I really don't know.

- Killing too many people in shops will sometimes make it so that they will forever put their hands up.

- By piloting a plane too far out of the map's boundaries for more than thirty minutes you can screw up the game. This glitch is actually pretty cool, but sometimes it really screws up the game and corrupts the file. This is known as the "Territory Glitch."

Weirdly enough it haven't happened to me. Though they are still optional. But I still am too lazy for 100% of any.

<a lot of text>

Actually, only the first and the third statement prevent you from reaching 100%

I am not entirely sure, but I could have sworn that these two were related.

I believe that if you fly too far off the map for extended periods early in the game, Taxi missions and the "Mike Toreno" mission are affected.

The taxi missions being affected part is tru, but please explain how the Mike Toreno mission is affected.

In the mission 'Mike Toreno', if you mean the marker outside the airport disappearing, then that is caused by the no-wanted level cheat. The cheat can be disabled and the mission can be completed.

Finally, after such a long time, i have an answer to my problem. I never knew about this glitch and it must be behind the reason why whenever i enter a place to play pool (Lil Probe inn, 10 Green bottles, etc) they put their hands up, meaning i cannot play pool, which has been f*cking me off for the best part of a year. Thank you for this info, golfhotelsierra(?), very helful.

@Bad~Boy Can you (or someone else) tell me in what ways Burning Desire is affected from the Peds Riot cheat?

LOL funny. I want to try that sometime.

Has someone gone through every mission to see if the Peds Riot cheat f*cks up anything else?

!!GC!!, I think it might have been you who recently posted about the problem you get with not spraying tags properly. It's possible for a tag to display as sprayed without it counting towards your stats, possibly if you run out of paint halfway through. That'd stop you getting 100% as well.

Actually, it's the 'Peds attack each other' cheat and not the 'Riot' cheat that causes this. This has been confirmed by zmoonchild and GTA Phreak. You can try it out too.

I've heard of a few people having problems with tags, that when you spray paint over the tags it doesn't register in your stats. I had this problem, and it stopped me from getting 100% on one of my files.
