casa13 Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 i have pre-ordered a copy of GTA4 from playasia and also have a preordered copy from gamestop ill get my aussie censored version on the 29th and then after a few days i am selling it to a mate from a lil cheaper meanwhile i will get my uncut version from playasia around the following days.. Will my aussie version that i once had save the game and when i play the uncut version from playasia will it be upto the same bit in the game or will i have to start over? Do you get me? I had the french copy of Mass Effect, ordered a UK copy cause the french voice acting was sh*te, and i had to start all over again, the game wouldn't even recognize another ME savegame was on the HD. You'll have to start over, because you'll have the censored versions data stored and the Asian version will only be there to validate that you actually have the disk, so you'll have to reinstall it on the console if you wanna be uncensored. Here is a statement from Rockstar Games: "No GTA has been censored since Vice City. Grand Theft Auto IV has been rated in its entirety. The rating is on the OFLC website." So apparently just a small scene or something was cut out of the game.. It isn't censored at all..So I wouldn't import it.
