SerenUnderdog Posted April 13, 2008 Share Posted April 13, 2008 WOW! i just sent his profile a freind request, so i could view his games, and well.....its true he has played IV. Strangly though he hasnt completed the first mission. my take is that the achievments do not register on M$ servers, since the game is not released yet, pretty much what happened with Gears of War , you passed a 100 kill milestone that supposedly give you an achievement, and sometimes you'll get the achievelent a day later while being offline.... meaning the info was carried away through m$ and epic servers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Some of the wording such as "Unlock the special ability of taxi" just seem weird. Surely it would be "Take your first taxi ride" as I doubt you would need to 'unlock' the ability. SevenII Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 I am very disappointed with the fact that this guy has the opportunity to practice the heck out of this game (and if he has it, who says there are no others, that may not have signed into live since putting it in their console?) before the world-wide release date! I mean, what about the Social Club? I would not be surprised to catch this guy somewhere near the top of the rankings... I paid good money to pre-order my game and am getting it during a midnight release and this has just absolutely ruined the whole, 'fresh game' feel about it!!! Holy sh*t these achievements are horrible! "Unlock the special ability of taxi"? What kind of grammar is that? Also, KILL A ROCKSTAR DEVELEOPER IN AN ONLINE GAME?! HOW THE HELL do you expect me to find one? Jesus Christ.. I hope this is a placeholder, because these are the same achievements posted 2-3 weeks ago. Whats wrong the the rockstar developer one? Well, don't you think it's a little over the top? How likely is it that you'll meet 6-20 specific people in a random game (all ranked games are random, at choosing players), and then will also happen to kill them? You realise your fretting over nothing? The same achievement was in games like Skate, if you kill someone who killed a Rockstar employee, chances are you'll get it, it will spread Hmm.. I have skate. and I even just checked it. I don't see a developer thing.
