wrap23
Hey guys, I'm new to the forums, but I have been playing since i was 6, yes 6, GTA London 1968. I'm now 13, and I just lot my GTA Vice City Stories game. So, after a few days of playing GTA VC (I couldn't buy play Sa and Liberty because my dad took them away), I wanted to go all out, and beat the game, 'cause I never got the chance to. Onto the question. After I beat themissions from the first, 'till the Cuban and Hitaitan missions, ther is no more. I completed them, but all is left is the side-missions, like the one where you answeer the phone at the Mall, and your club's that you purchased. If anyone knows why I cant see any other missions, please POST HERE ASAP. Or PM or Email, which every way. : Thanks.
Tommy Dickfingers
It sounds like you now need to start buying businesses to progress in the game. Please see real estate guide for an in depth guide to businesses and their missions. Good luck

saintdave
The assets mentioned in the linked guide above will give you a set of missions that not only allow the game to progress but will also make the businesses generate income daily.

Flesh-n-Bone
I remember having this damn problem a while ago. The only problem is money and there's no cheat for it, only to let u struggle, the side missions are worth it as they give you money.
wrap23
I remember having this damn problem a while ago. The only problem is money and there's no cheat for it, only to let u struggle, the side missions are worth it as they give you money. I used Gameshark 2, for 10billion, unlim ammo, health and armour. And so, am I correct on this, do I just have to do the property missions untill a "real" mission shows up?
Tommy Dickfingers
The property missions are the real missions, there will still be a few side missions
wrap23
The property missions are the real missions, there will still be a few side missions But, there are no missions for like, to end the game missions. Such as, the last one,"Keep your friends close" How do I finish out those kind of missions? I lost them whenever I finished the Haitain missions and the Cuban missions. (I use a Ps2)
Drippin'187
i believe there is 8 businesses you can buy total, and i think you need to complete 6 of the 8 to progress through the game. buy all the businesses you can, print works, film studio, taxi service, malibu club, strip club, sunshine autos. those are the 6 i complete and got assests for. after you complete all of them you should get a phone call from ken rosenberg saying something about sonny forelli. youll then get the mission cap the collector and after that keep your friends close. hope this helps
Flesh-n-Bone
No it's 5 of them you need to complete. Lance called me after I did 5 of them.

That's because Lance is involved in mission Copland and in the last mission at the print works (Hit the Courier) and of course you can't complete the final mission and then have him reappear in those other missions Steve
Spuds725
6 assets, and one of them has to be printworks (Printworks + any other 5 businesses, + vercetti missions completed open up the final 2 missions) Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games.... wrap23
Okay, I have 5/8 assets complete. Now, all I have to do get one more, and I'll get a call? (Roesnburg called me a few missions ago about his family being threatened, then,[this is after I completed the Malibu cluib missions] Phil called me, and I did all his missions) I guess all I have to do is one more asset and I will get the last two missions? Probably you should pay attention to the Printworks marker, there might be some pink marker (meaning next storyline mission).
Spuds725
Cuban/Haitian/Phils/Avery/Mitch Baker/Lovefist/and Cortez's very last mission are all side missions-- you can complete the story without doing them... Re-read my previous post-- I'm quite certain it is correct--- several years ago I competed in a "how fast can you complete the story contest" and there was extensive discussion as to what is required and what isn't I completed it without doing any of the above listed strings-- I skipped Malibu and Film studio as their missions take the longest to complete My time was 3 hours 32 minutes by the game clock-- real time was longer-- I did reload after dying which was allowed in our contest. What does throw some people off is Avery's missions-- when you complete Riot you get a call from Avery opening his missions-- and for a very short time his are the only ones available.... if you get out of your car though and wait 10 seconds or so, Diaz calls you for his missions-- this opens up Prawn Island-- I normally get in a car after Riot, drive to the gate to Prawn Island, wait for the call and watch the gate dissapear. HTH... Actually, after "Riot" you do get a call from Avery, and then as you said, you do get another call, from Cortez, which opens his strand. You must do his first 3 missions-to "Guardian Angels" and after that is when Diaz calls and Starfish Island opens. And I think after Diaz's final mission, you must do Cortez's next mission "sir yes sir" before you can open mission "death row". Hope this helps. But Spuds is correct about everything else on getting to the final missions. Edited April 20, 2008 by radioman

But Spuds is correct about everything else on getting to the final missions. Yep, you are correct-- the call is from Cortez-- my point is/was that for a very brief couple of moments, only Avery's missions are available-- which makes it seem like they are required story missions--- they are not.. they are required to open the cuban/haitian ones. I may be wrong on when Prawn Island opens above now... I see no reason for it to open at that point-- it is possible that the call from Diaz after guardian angels opens up the gates at prawn Island-- I do know that I have driven there and watched them disappear.... right after taking a call. This old man's memory may be fading..... Sorry for the mis-info.... Also, this mission flow chart might help those wondering what unlocks what--- http://patrickw.gtagames.nl/dl/vc_sequence.pdf although it doesn't show when islands open up... I do know that Phenom Penh 86 unlocks the West Island-- I was stuck on that mission for quite a while the first time through... that was how I discovered my "drive through barrier" method of getting to the west island-- totally by accident-- I was trying to hit the barrier and fly up and over and surprisingly went straight through.... took me a while to repeat it... I can pretty much do it at will now... Sorry for the clarity... I compressed it to make it dial up friendly (I was on dialup when I uploaded it) and I recorded it on my PS2 version with my digital camera... http://www.freewebs.com/spuds725/barrier.wmv Edited April 22, 2008 by Spuds725 Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games....
