Can't launch official demo version

I downloaded it from here: http://www.rockstargames.com/gta2/downloads/demo.html

and when i launch it (after settings screen when i launch to play)

it writes me this: http://www.sirius-sasha.at.ua/gtamaps/050408.gif

 

and game wouldn't launch.

what i have to do?

Why are you using the demo anyway?

 

You can download the full version free and legally from here; http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/index.html

 

Then if it won't run try starting it from the GTA2 Manager.

My friend asked me for demo, I don't know why... because of size I think

 

and I have legal disc of GTA2, yes.
