Sin City and 300

Right well after watching 300, I thought that was a bloody decent watch, so I think I will proceed to watch sin city soon, as I have it, but haven't been stuffed watching it.

But yeah 300 was Pretty good IMO, a decent enough story, cool SFX and some pretty mint battle sequences.

I hope Miller continues to write comics, and they in turn are made into movies.

In my Opinion, Sin City was better than 300, maybe its because the whole setting and story appeals to me more.

I loved the gritty city theme and the filming, in 300 the only thing that bothered me is that it seemed like the whole damn movie was yellow. Sin City had a right to be just a few colors seeing as its the way the comics were. Now I don't know if the 300 Graphic Novel was all yellow because I don't have it but I don't think it is.

300 was generic crap compared to sin city. Sin city was fantastic. And I like 300. Probably the best thing i have ever seen an admin say in any forum in my life.

I liked the atmosphere of it, but I got bored about 3/4 through. Bring on the flaming.

I would love a Dark Knight Returns film.

I could have seen Clint Eastwood as an older Batman/Wayne.

JoeyLeone25

Seeing as this is basically 'Frank Miller Discussion', anybody else heard about his directorial début (if you don't count his work on 'Sin City') called The Spirit?

Down these mean streets a man must come. A hero born, murdered, and born again. When a Rookie cop named Denny Colt returns from the beyond as The Spirit, a hero whose mission is to fight against the bad forces from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face who has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this cold hearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

Oh and the trailer is premièring on MTV (*gulp*) in six days.

I hate people that haven't seen Sin City yet, I'm jealous because they're going to get to experience it for the first time.

One of my favorite films, it's ridiculously good. Particularly Marv.

Go watch it!

Such as; Why does Marv love hitmen?

It doesn't matter what you do to them, you feel nothing.

Yes a great film tops 300 by miles.

What about Miller's other masterpiece Robocop 2.

Robocop 3 sucked though, but only in direction. Not miller's fault.
