[CLEO3] Petrol mod

Well, I've made that mod some days ago, but I didn't think to public it for all people.

 

Great Saiyaman request this mod in the ZAZ's cleo mods topic and I think, can be a great mod for the people who want a great SA with some RPG things and without editing the original main.scm.

 

The mod works great, without any crash, and totally converted in Cleo.

 

Include two languages to choose, for the spanish speakers and english speakers. You can choose only one language to put in cleo_text, remember that.

It works quite good and I only found one real bug: If you run out of petrol just next to the station it fills up, but you still can't drive.

But the most annoying thing is it doesn't save the petrol info *during save/load) and not even during the running gme. I wanted to park a filled car in my garage. Went out, moved another car so there was enough space. Came back to my "filled" car and it was like 1/4 empty. Also I suggest adjusting the filled value for "new" cars. It should be al least half filed when you get it. I mean, who drives around with an almost no petrol at all?

It is the ENB series mod for SA.Seen it around this forum a few days ago.That mod is really cool, I downloaded it!

@ psy145: Yeah, that is a stupid fail of my english sad.gif You can fix it easily, open "Petrol_english.fxt" with a notebook and edit the text.

2 things that could be improved:

- bicicles have petrol too wow.gif

- I have found a petrol station in the desert in the north of sa not indicated on the map and maybe other ones could have the same problem.

However great mod.

Maybe one more thing can be improve,

-length of the time that the vehicle can last with the fuel tank is full

 

sometimes i found it a bit annoying that needs to refill the car once i drive 5-7 min... confused.gif

increase the time to about 15 min is better... smile.gif

It would be a great idea if you could make different types of vehicle have different MPG/KM per litre

Please, if you make the petrol mod with spedometer like in ½reality mod½ and with big capacity tank like in ½reality mod½ too. This must be make for cleo 3 (.cs) dat.

Yeah, I saw your code and the car takes back repaired. I think I'll not do this modification. If you want turn on the car, use the script of ZAZ or leave from the car and then go in.

 

About the plane, for the next version will be fix. How? now, will be a petrol station in the airports.

 

About the bicicles... for me haven't got fuel.

 

And about the Petrol Station at the north of Las Venturas... yeah, stupid error, fixed! biggrin.gif

 

For the next version I will use the opcode 081D, more realistic I think.

 

 

081D: set_car &44035 engine_operation 1 // Engine off081D: set_car &44035 engine_operation 0 // Engine on

 

 

But it can't turn on the car, only permited another better style of engine off.

This mod isn't for turn on/off the engine, it's only for a Petrol mod. And because we can't do a turn on engine for refuel the car, it's for that reason I will not speak more about that.

 

I only need learn two things about codding and I will finish the mod soon and perfect biggrin.gif

No sorry, you didn't made that mod you turned it into a CLEO only. Please don't lie. Even if nobody really cares you stole it, next time at least steal latest version, which is much improved, where petrol is much cheaper, with a lot more petrol station and many hidden ones.

that bug happens because it haves "wait_X ms" when the gas over

if it dont exists, there wold be more funny bugs
