iCoke Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 Your TV is bigger than 42" so 1080i won't look good. ha ha hahha ha good lord, when you go to the movie theater you realize thats 420p dont you? hahah ha ha I rock a 7 foot wide 1080i projected screen and its the mean man. 420p my ass, and as for that "haha" comment, please Uhh I work in the projection room for Famous Players in Canada and we get the same film that is released world wide, its 420p, thanks for trying though. SerenUnderdog Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 2 things to consider : 1/ the higher the resolution the better the quality of the image 2/ Progressive scan is what one should choose for an action flick or a game as Interlaced method produce a few trails and visual artifacts In the end, for a gaming screen you should go for a a "p", be it 720p or 1080p (i switched my console to 1080i and was quite pissed by the result and switched back to 720p, i wish i had read about it before buying the hdmi cables lol) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
