but they allow us to see this in movies

(and worse but couldnt find pics, but think Saw movies)

it doesnt make sense. Its perfectly fine for us to see REAL people killing REAL innocents, with realistic moulds of the insides of human body and blood spurting everywhere. We're allowed to smoke bongs on the street in Saints Row.

Whats so wrong about GTA4? devil.gif Shouldn't they be more worried about us seeing these things happening in real life/movies? (which depict real humans)

I totally agree with you mate...They just treat games as child play, and therefore have to be about colourful rainbows and unicorns >__>

GTA IV is not censored in australia

it was classified by the OFCL on 11 December 2007 and given in MA 15+ (Not suitable for people under 15. Under 15s must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian) Rating on the Original Title for (Strong violence, Strong coarse language, Drug and sexual references)

Ref: OFCL on Grand Theft Auto IV

PALGN also recieved heaps of emails from customers asking if they were shipping the censored on uncensored version to which they told there customers:

Many people have been wondering whether or not the highly-anticipated GTA IV will be censored in any way ever since the MA 15+ rating was set by the OFLC, and Australia isn't new to censoring violent videogames...

However, PALGN have asked RockStar if the Australian versions of GTA IV are censored in any way...

A RockStar spokesperson replied with the following statement:

No GTA has been censored since Vice City. [Grand Theft Auto] IV has been rated in its entirety, the rating is on the OFLC website.

Grand Theft Auto IV has been officially rated MA 15+ for Strong Violence, Strong Coarse Language, and Drug & Sexual References, by the OFLC, and will officially launch on April 29th for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360...

And sneaking into an R18+ movie is ALOT easier than buying an 18+ videogame... I know from experience lol. (although I'm 18 now, snuck into Scary Movie 2 when it first came out, just bought a ticket to Nemo or something)

R* already knew that Australia didnt have R rated video games

so thats why they took all the rude stuff out then they sent it to the board of classification who gave the censored version MA15+

the version that is on the board of classification one is the censored one

this is what i think anyway

That was from Feb, The Age posted the opposite only the other day complete with quote from Rockstar saying they submitted a edited copy of the game. Regardless there is a topic in the Official News and Info forum about this so please post there!
