timecyc with high farclip

What about normal/default timecyc? Does it still happen?

 

If a lower-farclip (draw distance) timecyc doesn't cause this bug, then it could be due to the high farclip value.

I would recommend trying out Project 2DFX (or the assoicated files within that mod). It can fix weird bugs that happen with high farclip values.

I have installed the latest pack, both SRT3 and LOD mod and followed the installation procedures to the letter. I am now playing the story missions, and I get a CTD.

(Or rather, game hangs and error report is on the desktop) The crash occurs at Palomino Creek, both on and off mission. I might get some distance into the village,

tried to enter through various angles, but something there seems to cause crash every time. Anybody else experience this?

Can I proceed in game if I don't do all the Catalina's robbery missions? Or is there by chance any quick fix or am I the only one with this?

Thanks for telling me about this. Your issue is new to me. It might have something to do with Lod Mod. Would you download 2dfx and use Limit Adjuster and set PtrNodeSingle to 170000 for [sALIMIT]. I was having similar problems while I was working on Trees Lod. I couldn't get to Catalina house without having a crash freeze which I had to CTRL+ALT+DELETE controls.

 

I'm also very grateful to see someone (sharp mind) reading everything that I wrote there, important or just info from my mind.

 

I'm working this weekeend to release the next version of San Andreas Lod Mod and then I will go forward with SRt3 at the end.

Still, of course less. That happens even only with srt + lod mod.

Oh, that issue ? Well, it disappeared to me after I rebuild gta3.img. Like I said before, rebuild gta3.img each time when you're installing something and doesn't matter if is just one tiny file.

 

Or you better wait for the next SRt3 to come up.

Tried 2dfx, it certaintly is interesting. Was pretty surprised when I launched the game. Didn't fix the crash though... Doesn't anyone else suffer from this, or doesn't anybody just go to Palomino Creek ever ?

EDIT: the area that crash occurs on isn't strictly borders of Palomino Creek, rather that that map sector I think. Would think someone would have noticed this so maybe it's just me.

Can you take a picture of the exact location ? just a bit further from it, to not get the crash. I think this happens because some mipmaps weren't generated well by G-TXD and if I assume right, this is the same issue that happend with Vertical Bird mission where the mipmaps which weren't correctly set was causing the mission to crash intentionally.

During Catalina missions or free roam ? Even if you give for both still means something to me. Try for each to be certain for my answer I'm want to hear from you.

It does crash everytime I try to enter that area, outside of missions (free roam) as well as during catalinas mission.

So is not mipmaps. Yes, I caught some coordinates being placed wrong on some objects there. Of course I did fixed them, but you have to wait for a while until I release SRt3. I'm hopping to release this week everything

I ran some test, and is working fine, but would you be willing to give me your savegame file because I want to be sure. I hope you haven't continue with the game progress and stayed here. The crash can be triggered once Catalina missions have been activated on the map/script, etc.

I finished Lod Mod. All I have to do tomorrow is to sort everything for Lod Mod, Lod Mod for trees, SA-MP for Lod Mod, make the Readme and then I what I will have left is next SRt3. &*#@!, it was a pain making everything. I had some trouble exactly at the end of it.

 

Use mediafire and PM me then with the link. You can post it here too, is just a file.

Is just an installer instead of an archive. The files are still there. You still have to do manually. Is exactly what you want.

Posting just to post since your not even interested in this mod a bit, that can be seen clearly. Do you want a cookie now for what you just said ? What did you earned by that. As long as your post says the truth, doesn't do any change towards me. It's your statement, and less I should be focused over it.

 

If I had to post like you for any mod that is not on my watch list, I would have 100 meaningless post. Do you that to every thread around here ? I never understood your kind, maybe because I'm not doing idiotic post over some else work that I'm not even interested.

SRt3, yes because it changes only the textures inside the file and not the structure of the .txd in order for the MTA to request my modified .txd that actually isn't at all, like being renamed, adding other textures inside the .txd or the textures having different names.

 

Lod mod doesn't work because the structure is changed inside big time which will request for MTA servers to have Lod Mod installed in order for you to view exactly how it should.

It's delayed, until I'm solving my problems with Lod Mod. It happend to erase the link and make the setup when major reports were made to Lod Mod.

hi Blitz,

 

can you made a separate download link for the .LOD mod? i prefer the old version style really (i mean only replacing the entire textures) it has less bugs and playable. also, you can develop the .LOD mod without removing the regular SRt3 download link :/
