after i added your srt texture to my gta3.img now the size increase to 2,6Gb. but i dont like texture replacement for fam1, fam2 and fam3. so i replace from the original. when i rebuild gta3.img with alci img editor again was fail at 99%, it say fail to write entry data.

 

 

please give me advice how to solve it bro:) is there limitation the size of gta3.img? my gta3.img now is 2,6Gb.

You have change to rebuild arhive only 3 times. Afther 3 times, the program can't replace the files that you want to replace. You have click on SAVE but the game will start to not run so smoth. Maybe in time someone will make a better IMG tools for the game. icon14.gif

btw i'll try to replace fam1, fam2 and fam3 of srt3 (from orginal gta3.img) before i insert them into my gta3.img:)

And how do i get rid of the textures i had there before? when i installed youre mod i have double some textures? it dosent give me an option to remove the old textures

Add the textures again but this time click insert and replace.

it should overwrite them both

I think that he has problems with the .lods files, more exactly he doesn't use SA Limit Adjuster or StreamMemoryFix.asi

As your a great modder, can you see if you can get the peds appearing a bit further away rather than appearing fairly close?! Don;t know if that's a skill you have, but even if you don't I still consider you a genius!

 

By the way, I downloaded your mod on 8/3 and because you first page said 'Updated 11/3', I downloaded it again, and I saw both exe's were exactly the same size. So have you got the right info on your first page?

I think that the stuff with appearing much farther is more base on draw distance, it have something to do with something that I realy don't know what it is ( possible to be from the game-engine or .scm, or anything else ) so this is beyond my knowledge more than that it doesn't have any to do with this mod ( textures ). I'm sorry ph34r.gif

There is a mod that makes the effects to appear much farther but they are just effects. To much for me.

Yes, I have a 2x draw distance timecyc.dat, that makes the game look brilliant, but whether with normal draw distance or extended draw distance the peds appear quite close to you. Much closer than the cars, for example.

You said in an earlier post that you would release the SF update the after it's finished but I don't see it on the front page. Change your mind? Secondly I am not getting the desert airstrip area being retextured even after installing V1.5 even though the screenshots that come with the mod (SRT3 Final Continue v1.5 Pictures folder) shows it with new textures. I still have old textures, help please moto_whistle.gif Thanks a lot Blitz, you've done a great job with the mod so far, keep it up! icon14.gif

What I'm doing now will be released when everything is done, more exactly will be released when this mod is finished and on the front page is saying allready what I have said now. Second can you show me some pictures of the desert airstrip, I real want to see, cuz I realy don't know at what part of the land is not retextured ?!

This is very nice, should you can ask to the SA -LC II crew or you can join the clan, then you can retexture SA - LC II, but not to high quality, otherwise me pc it can't run bored.gif ( No realy)

I just continued this mod cuz I like this mod alot, and wanted to be totaly finished. I'm speding my time only for this, in anything else I'm not intrested cuz I'm not type of guy with modding.

When is finished why not, test the mod ? Then take conclusions. I can't say how it gona work to you, cuz my PC is much higher and to me allready runs smoth.

Yes. It is default time.

 

I realy don't understand how to make mipmaps using G-Txd Tool. I'm hit the key CTRL+G and choose level 9 of mipmap and then set to 9 on display mipmap and then nothing. When I'm going to the next texture, and go back to the texture that I have set the level, is the image is normal and the level back to 0. I Am missing something confused.gif
