[MenaceMovies]
Well, I am getting more and more interested in other countries, so I would like to see your own opinions on things. The last topic I opened about "Warfare" rather sprung quite a few arguements. So hopfuly this will be a more friendly topic, lol... Which countries in your opinion... Have the best and worst accents? I know that in some places in different countries you get different accents, like in America you get the normal American everyday accent and then you go over to Texas and there is a different accent. Same applies in the UK, you come down to Yorkshire and you'll find the accent isn't all "Pass me a sconn dear chap" it will be "Oy, beltup and pass meh some bread!" Mine are: Favorite: Australian Scottish Least Favorite: German Affrican American <-- Some accents are alright, but then some get annoying I think, I dunno why... flicko
,Apr 4 2008, 20:31] Least Favorite: German Affrican American <-- Some accents are alright, but then some get annoying I think, I dunno why... Since when did Africa become a country? He probably means South Africa, just like he probably means the United States of America when he says Americans. The actress who played Natalya in Hostel's Slovakian accent was surprisingly sexual, especially since she spent most of the film speaking English. Scandinavian women speaking English always seems to turn me on aswell.

Since when did Africa become a country? The latin languages class-room at my school lists African as a nationality on both the French (africain) and Italian (africano) lists. *sigh* I do Italian Beginners and when I have free time in class I just read the stuff up on the wall. It says people from the Netherlands are 'orlandese' but I like to refer to them as nederlando.

Since when did Africa become a country? Continent then* Well I meant the accent in general. Most people in Africa have a simular accent so I don't see the point in me naming ALL the countries in Africa.
Hayden
Or maybe the Afrikaans? The accent they have when speaking english is horrible. I had a friend who was born in South Africa, then moved to Adelaide when he was 11. He had a fun accent for a while but then after a few years he just developed a normal Sydney (Australian) accent. He still said 'eraser' instead of rubber, and spelled it 'mom', though, so it's all good.
Straznicy
My favourite accents have got to be Texan and Cuban. Quite like black Carribean accents too. Cannae stand Edinburgh accents (wee bunch of fannies), and the accents of Yanks who's voices haven't broken yet, the latter being the worse. wjf
Glasweigans, scousers, mancs, geordies and cockneys all have f*cking terrible accents. f*cking brummies too. edit, welsh people have sh*t accents, and the northern and southern irish, not to mention people from the west country. People from leicester and Nottingham sound especially stupid, not nearly as bad as people from yorkshire though. Oh and foreign people, I completely forgot to mention them. French chicks speaking any language, or girls with Irish accents, are sexy as hell.

Still, you'll never be half the man your mother was. Woody, I quite like the southern states accent. It's all Forrest Gump, I think it sounds pretty laid back and chilled out.
