Xbox 360 is the lead platform for GTA, it has DLC that isn't just sh*t. I think you'd prefer it. umm yeah pretty sure playstation has been the lead platform for the entire GTA series. Just because 360 is getting exclusive DLC doesn't mean they have taken over that role. What it actually means is that they are worried about PS3 beating them on sales of the game, and are trying to suide people into buying the 360 for the game. Sony came out with a game console long before MS...and also if i'm not mistaken weren't GTA, GTA 2 (both orignal and 2 released before MS had console) GTA3, GTA VC, and GTA SA all released on playstation before xbox...rockstar is now releasing them both at the same time to stop bickering amongst companies for bragging rights. no doubt that both consoles are amazing in their own respects...i currently own a PS3 and owns a 360 up until about 3 months ago. True that MS may have been a little premature in their release of the system letting it contain so many bugs on first release. But they are generally very good about getting it fixed and back to you quickly. PS3 on the other hand was released later and had the kinks worked out for the most part. with all this said, both systems offer different advantages and disadvantages (ie Xbox live charges members but has more content than the free counterpart in PSN). LOL what?!? Where did you read that? I need to know how you consider that to be confirmed. Anyways, the 360 RRoD is majorly exaggerated now. The new, improved guts on the systems that are being released currently have nearly wiped out the issue. Some of the older systems still run risk for RRoD, but it's in no way guaranteed to happen as the fanbots will tell you. Which one to sell? That depends on your taste in games. If you like MGS (personally I think it is craptastic), enjoy Gran Turismo games, or don't think Final Fantasy is on an irreversable downslope as I do, Then the PS3 is your system. Personally I prefer the prospect of Fable 2, The Forza Series, and Gears of War 2. Mass Effect 2 will also be designed with the 360 as the lead, and will more than likely be exclusive to the console for a bit before being ported. It's all up to your personal preference though. At the end of the day, GTA IV isn't going to be that much different on either console. You have to look at past trends in the game libraries and look somewhat to the future to guage just how important each one it to you, and not how important it is to everyone else. EDIT: Especially ones like the two fanbots above. Yeah. In case you haven't noticed, EA has taken control. I doubt that they'll keep Mass Effect 2 an exclusive to 360. There's actually usually a small frame-rate decrease or blander textures. To say that there aren't is a blatant lie. To say that there won't be is a blatant lie. your probobly right...im just having fun with the fanboys...there all over this site lately. i do prefer the 360 though only because in my opinion 360 has realeased better games. if the ps3 is so powerful than they need to release some damn more powerful games. im just saying....use that power if its so great they need something to pull them out of the dropping sales. theyre hoping mgs4 will do that but the experts say it wont help enough....i love sony....just make the ps3 cheaper and put some actual good games out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My 360 broke the piss out of itself, (RRoD) a while back, and took a couple of weeks to fix it. It's good now, and I've got DLC to look forward too. PS3 prolly do better out the box, but it'll set you back more cash for, and this is important, the same game. zengonzo Posted April 8, 2008 Share Posted April 8, 2008 why do people not research the PS3 controllers....there ARE triggers on it in the back. if u played the original PS2 controllers, then the L2 and R2 button have become triggers just like the 360 has triggers so does the PS3 controllers. The closer you are to the explosion, the more rumble you feel. You also feel destruction in backgrounds. If you get hit on your left side, the left side of the controller rumbles and vice versa. The downloadable content, the controller scheme, and the integration of XBL are very strong incentives to purchase the game on that console. If you plan on selling your consoles, that depends. PS3 has the ability to play Blu-Ray, if you're into that, and this spring to summer the system will be seeing the major exclusives of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (the latter of which is partly why I own a PS3). Its rumored there will be a port of MGS4, but I doubt it. Graphically, I'm sure they both will run the same although multi platform games have a tendency to run better on the 360. If you have to sell one of your consoles, I would recommend the PS3. XBL is very well integrated, and the cool multiplatform games coming out this year like Midnight Club: L.A., Battlefield: Bad Company, and Saint's Row 2 ( ) will all play better on the 360.
