gtamodder
Whats your graphics card? I find with Intel on-boards ones (Not ATI), sometimes the game may crash to the desktop.

gtamodder
Try right clicking gta_sa.exe, click "Run as", choose where it says "The following user", and enter password, and click ok, then SA Will start. Running as Admin usually helps.

gtamodder
I think the settings file could have been messed up. Delete the gta_sa.set file (In My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files)
Naseem Srour
I don't think there will be the [.set] file, because he intalled the game and it didn't enter. Try windows 98 compatilibilty mode.
