I'm not fussed.

Who really cares how realistic it is?

GTA: San Andreas = icon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gificon14.gif

and it had this, whats the problem. Crysis had masses of realism and it was pretty mediocre. I want them to focus on the gameplay and storyline.

Houser said it himself "you have to make it a game more then make it realistic"

It wont float like in revious games, you probably just have to walk over the body still to pick it up.

i hate the fact that online you have to collect it, well in dm you do, meaning no sniping, think a mag siad not collecting the cash is just as bad as dying, hopefully unranked servers are available cuz i seriously wanna snipe lol.gif

in single player i do like that R* have gone to the realistic side of things but little things like peds dropping money isnt gunna bother me confused.gif

In one review they(someone)said that weapons and\or pickups will no more unrealisticaly float on the ground or glow, they will stand somewhere without attracting atention.

i know what you mean i was just playing san andreas and i was thinking was they going to have money stacks fall out with a glow to it,or coins and money just fall out like saints row?Either way its going to be great

Money will just drop to the floor. There won't be body seaching as that would just take way too long.

I know that is going to be the case in Deathmatch mode so it's probably going to be the same in the single player campaign. Personally I'm not bothered about the coloured outline thing, it will probably be quite discreet and not really detract from the overall visual impact of the game and atmosphere.

Because it would become so f*cking tedious searching countless dead bodies after a mass killing spree.

Worst idea ever!!!

I think Saints Row got it perfect, they even had coins as well as notes.

Oh come on. Do you want to have to pick their wallets out of their pockets?

Why... yes. Yes I do.

Like everything I do in life, I like to take my time and do things to the fullest.

For example, when I make love to a beautiful woman, when I eat an expensive steak, when I play video games.

Life is short, savour each moment.

So would you like it if you had to sleep in GTA IV, and you actually had to wait 8 hours until you were allowed to wake up and play again?

How about, you have your own car, and you actually have to find your keys in your home before you can get the car to work. Oh, and you have a wife and kids, and there is an eating mini-game where you have to cook the food, eat it with your right and left analogue sticks to control your knife and fork. Oh and you have to change your kids nappy if he craps himself.

Or, alternatively, you could calm down a bit and not get upset about a glib comment.

Just how tight ARE those twisted panties you're sitting in?

Seriously, though... I think there's room for more realism. What you're suggesting is just being extreme for the sake of being extreme. That wouldn't be fun AT ALL. However, there is still room for a little realism. I think body searching would be a fair middle ground. It doesn't have to take long:

Body drops. Player approaches. Player presses button. Full contents of wallet are instantly transferred to the player, and weapons, if any, are also transferred. No need for an animation, even, just a button press. It would still be more realistic than a flying cash-wad.

Signatures are dumb anyway.

they had that in 50 cent BulletProof you serch the body then get cash or a credit card. It would be cool. You could get There bank details then empty there bank account

Yes, Life is short, so why waste it with pointless animated moments on a video game when you can easily walk over a body and get the money.

Yeah, great idea.

Stand over a dead body, "Search Body" appears, press the button, and then a small menu appears with things like their wallet, watch, necklace, ring, guns, and whatever else they have on them. An option like "Take All" would appear or you could just take the items individually--the ones you want. You could sell the jewellery for a ton of money or keep it and wear it.

This feature would add more depth to the whole dead body thing and it's way better than just having only money fall out.

I see it more as you stand over the body, press a button and it all just transfers - it doesn't need a menu or animation.

If there's still the old "can't have more than one of this class of gun, press {button} to swap" thing, those guns will drop to the floor, and if you want to swap, you have the opportunity to. Having a menu would slow it down, like others said before.

It could be instant, but there would be an option available to those that have time to really look at what they've got.
