The_Grand_Thief Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 I installed fresh new, legit copy of VC on my PC, and everything is working fine. The game has no glitches/lags etc. Graphics are fine. The only problem is when you take a mission, then there are important instructions displayed in the top left corner of the screen inside a black box, regarding the mission.. They are not visible to me.. There is just that empty black box, and i am unable to figure out what to do in some importan/complex missions.. Same problem is with telephone conversations, the strip appears but there is nothing written in it. I have subtitles on. I havnt installed any mods/patches. And have already tried playing with Frame Limiter/Draw Distance/Resolution.. And nothing worked. System ---------- Windows XP Professional SP2 P4 1.6GHz processor 512MB RAM SiS 300/305 Graphics Card with 32 MB of VRAM. DirectX 9.0c ---------- There is no other problem other than that stated above, and it gets quite annoying when you miss the important instructions. I hope there must be some way. thanx..
