Yeah, didn't ign take like a week after release to review San Andreas? GTA games are so big, that even if they were playing the full version of the game now, they probably still couldn't get a review out by time the game comes out. If you want any kind of review that covers more than the hands on previews have already discussed then it will take a good week or so to truly judge what sort of rating a game deserves. Please remember that most reviews of unreleased titles do not come out until cleared by the publisher for content under NDA. For magazines, they may have a week or two at max to play through the game and have a review DONE. This is because the printing for the next magazine goes in ASAP.
