Online
GTA IV is the king in my books, then Splinter Cell, Oblivion, Mario 3, the Sims. To be honest the build up to GTA suprassed losing my viginity back in 98.
Slamman
Back when October was approaching, it would be my current obsession... GTA 4, er.... Uncharted Drake's Fortune! Now it'll be the sequel to Naughty Dogs' game!! Whenever that is! -B

Slamman
The PSP versions just made it seem that way because they didn't really succeed PS2's San An. I like them to a small degree but San Andreas was a very nice PS2 game and still is

fitbikesbmx
I usually only get excited for games I really want about 2 weeks or so before they come out. I have been very excited for this game since the day it was announced, and my anticipation hasn't faded since then.

The Killa
Counted down the days for VC, SA and now IV. This wait, though, seems to be the most painful out of all the others. That, or it's been so long that I've actually anticipated a game that I forgot how horrible the wait was
crobert0247
I was excited for GTA III but I did not expect it deliver the way it did. But I was the most hyped about Vice City out of them all and the anticipation only triples with GTA IV. It takes place in my favorite city of them all, LC. Granted, the city is so much different than GTA III but the overall feeling that is coming from IV is fantastic and reminds me of III a bit! The anticipation continues. werenotfugazi
Is GTA king? F*ck, no! GTA is a Gamer's GOD. Well...in my opinion, anyway. When it comes to quality video games that I want to play for as long as possible, over, and over, and over again...GTA is no king...GTA is a video game GOD. For me, GTA is so f*cking mind-blowing, that I sometimes wonder if I've dreamed up the whole series. A game this solid, and bad-ass just can't be real! But...IT IS! Those guys at R* know what they're doing, and it's obvious to me the that they put as much of their heart, and soul into every pixel, in EVERY GAME as possible. This sort of feeling just doesn't strike me during any other game I play. When you go give your $60.00 to R*, your getting the deal of the century, because their games are the cream of the crop, and you're going to be playing something that is 10 times the game of anything available next to it on the retail shelves. Never has another game, or franchise gripped me so tightly, and completely. Much less, a game that hasn't even been released yet! I seem to remember hearing that R* was in financial trouble recently. So let me just say that I wasn't kidding when I said in a previous post that I WILL BUY 10 COPIES OF GTA IV IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES R* TO KEEP FROM SELLING OUT, OR FADING AWAY. I NEED for R* to succeed. I NEED for R* to understand that I believe with every fiber of my being that what they're doing is providing gamers with Heaven on Earth, and that their efforts are very much appreciated. For me, GTA is absolutely everything I could ask for in a game, and I've never looked forward to any game as much as I've looked forward to IV. April 29th is going to be an epic day for me. One that I'll remember for the rest of my life. Thank you, R*! Edited April 4, 2008 by werenotfugazi

LOL I really hope we don't have to wait until next gen consoles come out to play a new GTA... That would really suck. I think there will be at least one, or 2 more with the current consoles. I mean, they've released them every year or 2 years so far, why not continue? I guess maybe it takes quite a bit more time with this generation of consoles, so yeah, I could see why it would take a little longer. However, I do think we'll see another GTA on the current consoles. I hope!
