bobbagoose Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 I had a dream a few weeks ago. It started in a multi-storey carpark and I went down some stairs into the street. I spent a few minutes admiring the graphics and analysing the detail on the peds, they started talking to me and I walked away. I then realised that I'd agreed to wait to play GTA4 at the same time with a friend on XBL. I started making my way back to the car park and ended up in an apartment watching an in-game television show. I remember being really amazed that there were TV shows to view in the game and then I logged out. It was so real that when I woke up it took me a few minutes to realise that I hadn't actually played it, but the sense of guilt about having played the game without my friend was very real. I'm sad I know, but I understand the original poster completely. I've been excited about every GTA since Vice City, but NOT THIS MUCH. It's unbearable, but thankfully time is passing well right now. In my dreams though Rockstar always manages to release some exclusive information to me, of course the kicker is I forget when I wake up so I cant pass the info along . Mario Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 The creator of this thread is hilarious. Also, I too have had a dream about GTA IV, last night. It was my first, and I was surprised. I haven't been going nuts about the game's release. Yeah, I agree it will most likely be the best game created to date, and of course I'm excited for its release. But at the same time, I am fully aware it is just a videogame, and do to this knowledge it holds a very mediocre priority in my life. So having a dream about it was quite unexpected. In my dream I kept trying to walk up the thick metalrope wiring holding up the bridge between Broker and Aloquin (The Brooklyn Bridge), and couldn't manage to get very far before these baddies yelling in Russian accents would begin firing at me with shotguns. After meleeing (a word?) one to death, I took his shotgun and disposed of the other baddies before stealing their obvious gang car (a black 1965 lincoln ala President Kennedy), and drove into the inner city. Just as I began to admire the map design and building structures, I woke up. Crazy. This game is actually getting to me. I have never ever dreamed about a game, until that day. well said.... grop 4 that date: no offence, but you shoudn't dream about video games. something must be wrong. or you may need a real life. again no offence. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... gta4 is my life???? i'd jump infront of a bullet for it lol ok. makiaveli777 Posted April 6, 2008 Share Posted April 6, 2008 i keep having these dreams about gta4. yes, actual dreams... about 3 or 4 different ones a night. they seem so real too. i cant excape this game... rockstar keeps finding me-- i fear for my life now. i cant even finish writing a post anymore, without looking over my sholder. i never gotten so excited about a game before.. i bought the 360 just so i could play this. my goal for the next few weeks is simply to stay alive and not to die. im dead serious... i wont even cross the street anymore or go out at night. i refuse to take baths or plug in electrical appliances. i havent driven in a car in seven days. and i carry a gun everywhere now. does anyone else have this problem? i need help thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
