GTA2 Editor Problem

Sorry to the mods, I know this is multiple topic spam but I just realised I'm more likely to get a reply here:

 

I have the editor for GTA 2, and some tutorials which I intend to follow dilligently, however I cannot see any of the textures in the texture browser unless I have the pointer over them, and they vanish again if I scroll.

It works perfectly apart from this.

Has anyone ever found a way to fix this?
