Dillinger8
Stop being poor and shell out the cash to get these. Be happy they're even releasing these, I hate the current light as a feather controllers.
NikoVercetti
It has that location vibration right? Movement to the right, right hand of the controller vibrates, same for left. But seriously, this isn't GTA IV related. yes it has location vibration and it has everything to do with GTA IV because idn but the controller is still sick as f*ck IDN don't equate to anything! I DON'T KNOW makes more sense, but neither does most hardware related topics here, one could say. I want to know just how drastic it differs. I thought it may be larger and perhaps heavier then the SixAxis, but for those Noobies out there, this is a re-working to include the past vibration not exclude SixAxis so in likelihood they had to increase the controllers overall size a bit. It's actually the same size as Sixaxis, but ALOT more sturdy, and it is heavier. The plastics aren't see-through, and the face buttons have a more matte finish, instead of being smooth like Sixaxis. over-all, I would say it is drastically better. And for people complaining Sony should have released it at launch, they couldn't, due to a law suit with the guys behind Dualshock. But we won't get into that! zengonzo
The form factor is what they really ought to change.
werppa
Is there actually anything else than vibration in that new controller? I actually hate rumble and always turn it off...

RedSpecial
Ive had one for about a month now, and they are alot better than the sixasis in terms of build quality, gone is the tarnsparent plastic which has been replaced with a more sturdy ps2esque casing, its no bigger than the sixasis but it does feel more substantial due to the added weight of the motors. The directional vibration is a nice feature and does add a good bit towards immersing you further into a game, especialy on uncharted where every weapon has its own charactersistics when fired. the buttons have a slighty textured finish giving better grip and the analogue sticks feel more sturdy and resistant. Now i was quite happy with the sixasis untill my bro broke it whilst we were redecorating which is why i decided to plump for the DS3, which in my oppinion is a much better pad and is worth the asking price . Just my 2 cents
Creed Bratton
What is so great about a controller. It has buttons right. We use those buttons the way they are supposed to be used. It has rumble and that motion thingy. But it all boils down to one thing: It is just a controller You make it sound like it makes you orgasm every time you hold it. I couldn't care less about rumble. The way I see it, it interferes with my gameplay. I dont need something shaking in my hands while I'm playing
All Pro Gamer
so basically it's the same sh*t...different feature type of thing. But it rather surprising that it took Sony this long to bring this to market. kinda shafts the current ps3 owners though.
mark3boyz
You guys are crying like a bunch of little girls. If you dont think the new DS3 is cool then dont buy it. And if you do think its cool, and you purchase it, you get an extra controller to use for multi-player split screen games to play with your friends. Although I dont think its of much use to most of the people posting in here because I doubt they have any friends or they would have come up with that idea on their own. I had two Sixaxis' since launch, one extra and the one that came with the PS3. One of them was stepped on pretty early in its life screwing up the joysticks while the other finally succumbed to wear and tear a couple months ago. I ordered a white DS3 from play-asia and couldn't be happier. It's incredibly similar to the Sixaxis, but the weight and plastic give it a quality feel that the Sixaxis was missing while the joysticks seem a little more responsive as well (but that might be my imagination). And to the people being little babies: Moonshield's less handsome join date brother <

SyphonPayne
I already have two SIXAXIS's... But if I ever break one or just need another controller I'll be looking forward to the DUALSHOCK 3 .

Shylock
My sound system is vibration enough. I broke a bottle the other night when it rattled off a shelf. Compliments of nub-tubes on COD4. Wankers.
