Symbiote666
It has that location vibration right? Movement to the right, right hand of the controller vibrates, same for left. But seriously, this isn't GTA IV related.

Darkgamr
I got 2 sixaxis's and its just a punch in the gut to loyal fans to release the dualshock 3s later. There's no way in Hell I'm spending 55 bucks to replace something I already7 have

DarkStream
Yay......55 Bucks.... Hail Capitalism! Want a cool piece of technology? Why don't you get an awesome piece of plastic called "Dualshock". It has rumble for all your good vibrations. Feel Good, feel the rumble. Remember, it has rumble in it! God, how I hate Sony for making it now instead producing it from the start on. I'm really not into paying that much for the exact same controller, but with rumble. Total rip-off. Stupid, stupid Sony. Dark BTW: Why is this thread in the GTA4 Section? No cookie for the starter. I'm sure most of you have had ur sixaxis controllers for a while and they get worn down and slippery and just kinda disgusting, its good to buy a new controller every once in a while

I DON'T KNOW makes more sense, but neither does most hardware related topics here, one could say. I want to know just how drastic it differs. I thought it may be larger and perhaps heavier then the SixAxis, but for those Noobies out there, this is a re-working to include the past vibration not exclude SixAxis so in likelihood they had to increase the controllers overall size a bit. Mavros
It really sucks that this had to come out now and not before, but don't forget the only reason it wasn't included was because Sony was in a lawsuit with the company who made the rumble (imersion i think). Maybe they could have come to an agreement earlier? I dunno. Either way, at least we got it now. But am I the only one that doesn't really miss it? But am I the only one that doesn't really miss it? i havent got a PS3, cuz im a 360 *cough* fanboy *cough* but i sort of agree with what your on about their, on 90% of the games i play on the 360 i turn the vibration off anyway as its very strong and not realistic AND wrecks my hand when firing LMG's with 300+ ammunition i wouldnt be too bothered with a controller with vibration or not.. im not too sure why they re-realeased a controller buy with vibration.. seems as if there just trying to be able to rub out all the stuff 360 fanboys said about hwo the controller doesnt have vibration
steelsmokin07
I actually miss the weight from a PS2 dualshock so I think I eventually might invest in one of these controllers. I just have working SIXAXISes so I don't see the point in running out and buying one just because they're there. But eventually I will jump on the bandwagon and buy one of these new Dualshock 3s

NinjaJones
Wow so you're saying that I can fork up 55$ for a vibrating peice of plastic that is a minimal upgrade to something I already have! WOW! What a great deal!

rasomaso
Wow so you're saying that I can fork up 55$ for a vibrating peice of plastic that is a minimal upgrade to something I already have! WOW! What a great deal! No. I have both sixaxis and the dualshock 3 and I can say it controls much better. Especialy the analogs are more precise and L2 R2 buttons are better (it just pushes more easily and clicks more). It's more solid and definitely worth 55$. I've acquired it a few months ago and when the battery's empty and I switch to the sixaxis, it just feels awkward. I'd say the rumble is a bit of bonus. Seachmall
You could always strap a vibrator to the controller, not as stylish though. Also, I'm not sure how much they go for these days, may not be a good investment.

brianjoelmartin
rumble? who cares...it rumbles in ur hands...in no way effects the gameplay...and isnt realistic. my cell phone vibrates...am i supposed to be excited about that too? if my cell didnt vibrate...i wouldnt buy one that does even for 10 bucks...."oooohh its vibrating...(puts on balls)...mmm yeah thats nice"
