I've also read magazine articles on GTA IV that have said that there is no HUD, that Niko can swim underwater, and that during gameplay you can piss in alleyways..... My point isn't that parachutes are in OR out of the game, but simply that we won't really know until the 29th what is in and what is not. Any stipulation until then is simply that, stipulation.... I think so sadly, but we really haven't had any insight into this in a magazine article. It seemes like it would be quite tedious to just die everytime your helicopter catches on fire. It could be that the helicopters take awhile to explode so we could attempt to steer it to the nearest roof top, and jump out with minimal health loss. That would be pretty cool. Zombified Jake Posted April 3, 2008 Share Posted April 3, 2008 The idea of no parachutes came from some preview a while back which said, "There will not be flame throwers (some other stuff) or parachutes" but they didn't see, it was an assumption probably.
