I need a store (online store) that I can pre-order GTA IV from that will guarantee that the game will arrive at my house on the 29th (or earlier for that matter, no later). Do you have any suggestions? My initial thought was play.com but I have heard that they have had pre-order problems in the past. Thanks. EDIT: For PS3 by the way. If you go into HMV, Game, or wherever, you can get one reserved for you so you can just go in and pick it up. But I'll do it online, so I don't have to go anywhere. I'm too lazy. bonkster Posted April 4, 2008 Share Posted April 4, 2008 it's best to go with game. i pre-ordered with hmv but they wasn't gonna despatch it til the day after release. which means you mite not get til 2-3rd of may. when i went on the website for game, they said it'll be despatched ready to be delivered on release day. i've now pre-ordered with game.i'll get it on release day if not earlier and don't even have to leave home either. so game is the place to go. Game guarantee delivery for release day - although it costs an extra £5 in p&p. My experience of Play is that you'll get it the day after Amazon, I'm not so sure about, I think you may be able to pay extra to have it on time - although I'm not sure on that one. I've gone with Game. I don't mind paying a bit extra to save the hassle of trudging into town to pick a copy up, and this way it'll be there waiting for me when I get home from work.
